Was pretty excited for Spurs when Conte was appointed but he’s taken them backwards imo.

Seems strange Guardiola leaving DeBruyne, Foden, Cancelo and Bernardo Silva on the bench

Still time but probably not now, fully expecting Man City to go on and win it from here.

Lloris has passed his sell by. Perisic at this time in his career was an odd signing too.

Looked hand ball in today's standards.

Conte surely not to last much longer at Spurs. Another season wasted for Harry Kane playing half his time at left back

I mean spurs are 5th in a league where they can't compete financially.. Newcastle another team with infinitely more cash now too , can't see how they maintain top 4

What an astonishing win record Pep Guardiola has in the Premier league.Must be boring being a Man City fan knowing you are going to win 3 in every 4 games you play. Love a bit of that bordom at the CBS.

Amazing the disrespect he still gets tbh.

Couple of incredible facts from his tenure:

In his 4th year .. but I'd say arsenal are the perfect example of a team that's struggled to keep up over the years .

Be interesting if they sustain it from this season on , or if this season is a one off

8th , 8th , 5th

Conte would already have been gone

Spurs spent more in the summer than Newcastle, though I'd imagine Newcastles spending will go into overdrive at some point.

His record is incredible, but at the same time there will always be that small question mark over whether he could make a team perform above their standard. Everywhere he's managed you'd expect that team to finish top two with the resources and players available to him. You just wonder whether he'd be able to take an average team and make them good. I'm not sure he could. He's used to working with players that are already top class - you wonder what he'd be able to get out of Jamie Allen for example.

He would make him the next Bernado Silva.

Today and last week were the games for Everton to show they are good enough to stay up against bottom three rivals and they've failed

Is it Lampard, is it the players, is it the board? Probably a combination of all three. I like Lampard and he talks a good game but perhaps can't execute what he wants because he hasn't got board support or he simply isn't cut for it

I wouldn't be surprised if Lampard is gone by Monday, but doubt any manager coming in will save them this season

He can hardly say he hasn’t had money to spend. And when he did at Chelsea he spaffed it up the wall.

Just isn’t a good manager
