Assuming they lose today Spurs will only be 8 points clear of the bottom 3. Could they go down?

Villa just had a goal disallowed as ball went out of play 20 seconds earlier & linesman missed giving a throw in. What a load of bollocks?!

It's crazy that they can check for things in the build up to a goal but not for corners & goal kicks that the referees get wrong

It just depends if they want the goal to stand or not and how hard they look.

To be fair if the ball clearly went out why would you allow the goal? It was 19 seconds before not like it was 19 minutes

19 seconds is a long time.

If it needs var to check a ball going out at the other end of the pitch then maybe they need better linesmen.

But the ball was out, people seem to just want to have have a pop at VAR.

If you can see the ball was definitely out then there is no way you can let the goal stand.

Referee & linesman make plenty of mistakes but they are only checked when a goal is scored. I think if it's missed then so long as there isn't a valid reason for VAR to disallow the goal then it should stand.

The replay didn't show it fully out either.

I'm sure if you go back far enough with every goal you can find something to give. A foul somewhere in the lead up.

It's not a pop at var, it's the gimps using it.

yeah cause they are only checked when a goal is scored, there is just no valid argument for allowing a goal stand if you can see the ball was out. Absolutely none.

I think they should only check what happens in the immediate build up play to the goal. As I said referees get plenty of things wrong. With what you are saying they could go back as long as they want to correct a wrong decision, I just disagree with that.

LB playing him miles onside at a glance. Was worried they were going to rule it out for Solanke kicking through Guehi

If Carrick keeps winning and gets them into Champions League, will United risk getting rid of him to bring Glasner in?

Only to sack Glasner in 8 months time

That would be such a united thing to do!

That's the issue here, it looked out but you couldn't conclusively say it was out.

It was right to be disallowed but it shouldn't have taken so long as they could see the ball was out

Just heard a stat that Chelsea have only beaten Arsenal once in 14 attempts. Remember when the boot was on the other foot, Chelsea used to terrorise them.

Also, does Liam Rosenior wear fake glasses?
