I'm a bit p*ssed off Sunderland seem to have an easy start in Premier League terms.

But imagine if that ‘easy start’ delivers only a couple of points. Then they can look forward to facing the rest of the season chasing Derby’s lowest point tally.

How come there’s no Boxing Day or New Years Day games?

Seems a bit odd given Sky were pushing for Christmas Day games last season.

The same teams that finish the season and immediately jet off to the US/Asia for tournaments I'd imagine...
It’s complete nonsense. It’s a team game, it’s not like these clubs can’t find a squad of players to rotate and play a few games over the Christmas period.

Exactly. It's the teams that can afford to shell out £100+ million on an individual player or have 30 squad members out on loan who complain as well.

It's where I want us to get to, but I hate the Premier League mindset so much

this needs to be asked by interviewers every time a manager complaining about fixture congestion.

rest also seemingly less important if Sky decide they want to move games
Matches in Round 18 (December 27) are available for movement to Boxing Day for live broadcast selection.

Yep agree, although I imagine managers don't really have a say at the end of the day and probably would prefer the break as well, so then it's a complaint they need to have with the club owners rather than complain to the press
