Inconceivable they stay up.
Their finances are absolutely perilously well.

Could be us MK II, new stadium on the way and relegation. Guess they'll have the parachute payments though.

According to this their interest payments on their debt is 50k a week.

Everton teeter on the brink after 30 years of mismanagement | Jonathan Wilson

Signing players past their peak is one of the mistakes made by a debt-ridden club who fear a relegation they cannot afford
www.theguardian.com

If that's true its a big debt to service in the Championship.

Doesn't look good.

Tbf, when Moyes was there, they were consistent but they've not been the same since he left.

They've been really mismanaged at board level.
They had Acellotti and still screwed it up!

Iwobi done his hamstring now, Sean Dyche must have smashed a mirror over a black cats head on Friday the 13th.

Everton are in desperate need of a quality striker, the only problem is nobody seems to want to go there.

Don't think we've learned too much about villa from their opening 2 games.

They'd be a good bet for a cup win somewhere too.

As in Cov?

Genuinely can't remember, always seem to concede when given against us.

Kudos to Brighton for having Chelsea’s pants down.

Spending that much and still being that shit is quite an achievement. Long may it continue.

Early days but could surpass Maguire to Utd by the knickerstichers as the greatest bit of daylight robbery in football.

Boehly surely can't afford for these massive fuck ups to continue. He's a billionaire of course but he's not Saudi/Qatar rich. Interestingly he seems to have a similar net worth to Mike Ashley. I genuinely thought he was worth more the way he's spunking it.

It's one game though, Caecido might turn out to be a great signing. Can't be classed as a massive fuck up after one sub appearance though it does allow for a Sunday evening chuckle at Chelseas expense!

I'm just talking generally. Their signings seem poorly thought out to me, there doesn't seem to be a strategy.

Chelsea have spent a lot of money but it is hard to work out where exactly, Liverpool we’re very clever by forcing up the prices for the players Chelsea bought

I think they're crying out for a decent striker.
Don't think last season would have been as bad as it was if they'd had one.
United the same.

But the sale of Mount looks good at the moment, Man Utd are another team that seem to be spending money on strange places.
