That Japanese player that tats was sharing pleasantries with on Saturday got the opener,Ohaji was his name I thought he had the same name as our lethal machine.

journey home was ridiculous. M3 and A34 all closed off - 52 miles of diversions.
Was you in the contraflow on the M27 which you couldn't exit before the exit needed to get on the M3? - We had to carry on past Rownhams services, come off and join the other side of the carraigeway - Never seen anything like it in my life

Then the A34 turn off was shut so had to carry on for a bit and I saw a signpost to Exeter at one point - Crazy journey home and as I said thank god we won else I would be in a foul mood today

Portsmouth fans saying Chaplin was rubbish. I thought he was their best player for most of the match. Anything dangerous came from him. Just not sure what position he was meant to play
Good player. It's a shame he was just that bit too young when we had him. A bit like Ayari was or Clarke-Harris looking back

Can’t get on to Portsmouth board without registering so fuck that
They’re very complimentary concerning us. Their penalty shout is much debated as is the ‘foul’ by Simms before BTA scored.

One or two comments about the home fans being outsung by us..The stands looked half-empty when they scored.

Coventry players were very good at passing to orange shirts…unfortunately we were better.

Also. ‘I saw the Champions and fucked off home’ is a compliment if ever there was one.

Even earlier than that, Charles Hughes in the late 1950's advocated long ball. He was derided for being a dinosaur, now he could be seen as prescient
Yes. I think Howe is from the same generation, England side in the 50s then with Bertie Mee at Arsenal. Notice Lampard still has the POMO doctrine ingrained.

Yeah it was a nightmare, i think i got to bed about 2am after dropping everyone off. What is it with this f**** country, same coming back from Millwall the other week having a 1 hour tour of St Albans because the M1 was closed.

M27, yes, we did the same.

The A34 closure was just a case of coming off at the slip road, round the island/ and take the slip road straight back on to the A34. Workmen on the bridge section above the roundabout.

What a win! Deserved to be 3/4 total control for majority. Amazing times!

What a journey home, road system a disgrace! Big up to all fans for that
I got in at 1:30 and an annoying delay was works on the M27 that blocked the junction to come onto the M3! Seen lots of Cov fans in the service ahead so assuming I wasn’t only impacted.

Shit journeys home are manageable when we get 3 points. Imagine had we shit the bed and conceded in the last minute?!

Well one the biggest adherents to his philosophy was the last English man to win the league.

I was in that.

Waze recommended that journey which is the same one (more or less) from Southampton that I did in 23/24. To the game (from Slough) it recommended going via Petersfield and really should came back that way.

The contraflow added about 20-25m to my journey.
