Imagine driving down into Pompey and leaving your ticket at home. Prick.

Might need a spare if anyone knows of one?!

My wife won't answer the phone to take me a pic of the QR code!

Update: wife was doing the kids bedtime. Had to get a neighbour to shout through the letterbox for wife to answer.

Not happy.

But have pictures of said ticket on phone

This looks like very sensible tactics. 3 at the back to work together against a Pompey side that always has that rush of blood at home. We nulify that first half, maybe get the lead, change formation back again with Wright on 60 minutes, and run out comfortable winners.
Clearly Frank wants to supress Pompey and frustrate them into submission first.

If he want to do that he's have picked more than a 2 man midfield

Need Wolfy to be the ball player tonight as i assume Pompey will try to sit deep on Grimes. Milan and JDS will be important, as they will be seeing a lot of the ball if we get control of the game.

Perhaps he hasn't got more than 2 fully fit midfielders? Or doesnt think Allen or Eccles are upto it

Dunno if it's official or if they're just guessing it, but the BBC has us lining up like this:

Glad to finally get a look at The Woolf anyway!

Wasn't expecting 5 at back or Wright to be on bench

On paper looks a very decent team still though

If we find a different way of winning it will only add to confidence

Got to be 5ATB - we’d surely play KKH at right back if Van Ewijk was playing right wing

That's a load of nonsense, Woolf is left footed so why would you put him on the right.

Wright needs a rest, and Sakamoto often goes missing away from home against physical oponents.

Have to be adaptable this season, let’s prove that tonight! Sakamoto and Wright to come off the bench when needed - not all bad. The Wolf needed to play at some point and here it is. As ever, I’m hoping we get the Simms that we know he could be. Big game for him.

No issues with 3 at the back, should work well. A little concerned the midfield could get overrun though.

Wonder which one we are going to get.

Hot Shot Top Bins Harvey, or Barn Door Banjo-Cow Duncan.

Interesting team selection. Wasn't expecting that given the form. Guess we need to rotate, and maybe 5 ATB will serve us well away from home, and maybe springs a surprise that Pompey were not expecting.

If doing this why not play KKH though? That's why I'd be inclined to think it's 3 at back

so basically since Eccles, Rudoni and Torp picked up injuries, Lampard just decided Grimes counts at two CMs and leaves him to figure it out on the pitch. If it works, wtf not!

Both Pompey losses at home this season were against teams playing 5ATB (Norwich & Sheff W). Although they beat Boro who played 5ATB

Yes to all of that!

Rushworth
Wolf - Thomas - Kitch
MVE - Torp - Grimes - Dasilva
BTA - Simms - EMC

No problem changing formation, the players were use to playing it last season. Now bring those three points home. PUSB.

Robins would have selected Wright and Saka and then moaned about how fatigued they are after the game.

Oh, and Lati would have played somehow.
