Torp was objectively very good. He got a bit ragged after the game had gone, but for the most part, he looked a Premier League player.

He looked like the player we need in the deep lying role . He showed for the ball early , looked to be progressive when he could and was heavily involved in most of our best bits in the game
Oh and that free kick 😍
 
Only Yirencki, Torp and Mfuni emerge from another shambolic, piss poor showing with enough credit to be considered MoTM. Probably Torp due to his goal.

Said it in the match thread that Lampard has already got Grimes pencilled in , hope his continued loyalty to Grimes doesn’t cost us and him in the long run .There were more than a few tonight who should be regulars by Xmas but it’s now on Lampard to be brave enough to play them

If he doesn’t start Torp against Forest then i seriously question the Coaching Team!
