West Midlands Police said two men were arrested and bailed after a small disorder was reported at The Wheatsheaf in Foleshill Road, Coventry, at about 5.30pm.

No chance. Southend made more noise on a Monday night. We made 100% more noise at blackpool than they made at the Ricoh Saturday. In fact we made much more noise at the den earlier in the season

Anyone present in the pub could make a claim. No bullshit. Police came in with batons. Yes outside a couple of glasses were thrown at the police outside but that was minor compared to what happened inside.

Have you put in a request for the footage yet Lurker? If not this gives you all the info you need https://www.gov.uk/request-cctv-footage-of-yourself

You should pursue a complaint yourself. Get on to the CT and CWR as well, get a group of people who were in the pub together and take action collectively. If you get onto the FSF sure they'll give you some legal assistance.

Closest I've come to being in the police was being in an ID parade.

Was walking past Little Park St station when I was about 16 and got stopped and asked if I'd do it and I'd get paid! Assumed it would be behind a one way mirror like you see on the TV. Wasn't anything like that.

There was 5 or 6 of us sat in a meeting room and they they bought in the chap who they'd arrested and then the victim. Around that point I started worrying about what would happen if I was picked!

The chap they had arrested was picked got paid and that was that.

Why the vendetta against Gentleman? Daring to have an opinion that goes against the SBT grain? I thought you'd respect that kind of thing....

I know you know him but his vitriol the other week really does deserve mocking. He also was very abusive to some very gentile posters.

Not me - I deserve all the abuse I get as I ask for it - other than from Italia and his idiot sidekick.

Do people not think that refusing, or the threat of it, to allow people to leave a train station or enter a city centre because they don't have a match ticket ridiculous. Because an opposition supporter travels without a ticket, that doesn't make them a hooligan. We've done it before.
Why should we accept that football supporters can be treated like second class citizens?
This doesn't happen in any other walk of life and isn't acceptable.

Is it normal for the away fans to be escorted past The Wheatsheaf? Seems a bit bonkers!

Sorry got no sympathy. Millwall fans have got that reputation due to years of violance by their so called fans. Yes its probably a minority but anyone that remembers the dreadful behaviour of them during the 80s and 90s in particular icluding ripping up seats at highfield rd will know what im talking about.
they have brought that reputation on themselves and you only have to read some of the coments on their forum to see they still have a large group of idiots

I'll make this quick and try and use smallish words for someone like you to grasp. I'm busy working and having a life instead of spending so much time on a forum. I've said before that I only like to dip my toe on this forum now which is my choice. You on the other have that much of a shit life that you spend most of it on here. That is your choice.

As for Saturday, Busy working in the morning and then a lovely afternoon with my wife and youngest daughter at the custard factory in Brum. As usual, just like when you usually talk on here you're wildly wrong and just make yourself look like a complete and utter moron. But I suppose being you, it's just habit.

But thanks for the mention stalker, if you're lucky I'll give you an autograph, but don't worry because I'll do it in big letters and not join them up so even a burger flipper like you can read it.

Exactly football fans are treated disgustingly, ie wasps fans can take a drink into the stadium but a football fan cannot be trusted to.
I have experienced out of order treatment from police when visiting away games, , I am no threat to anyone.

That said if you build up a reputation for trouble and revel in it then expect the consequences... Millwall

Deserve mocking??? Oh jesus, if what you've posted about me is mocking then I'm truly up the creek and it is me who is quivering from a bully like you. If you're going to mock then at least get your facts right, because as I've posted, you'll just make yourself look a tit.

As for the other week, my 'vitriol' as you call it was in fact me putting a post up then getting shit loads of crap for it and me answering everyone who had the balls to stand up behind their keyboard and have a pop at me. If I remember correctly, I even got a complete nonsense post from you that didn't even make sense which you had no comeback for.

On what legal grounds could they even do that. What if you're a Millwall supporters who now lives in Coventry? How would they even prove you are a Millwall supporter, if they ask and you say no what can they do?

I could understand them dispersing people hanging around the ground who hasn't got tickets but not letting people in the city is a bit much.

Someone who waxes lyrical about the noble football hooligan calling people moronic? It would be hilarious if it were not so tragic.

Exactly my point. And if they'd had a couple of cans on the train on the way up, any resistance or arguing suddenly becomes a drunk and disorderly charge.
Normal rules don't apply to the police on match day and it's allowed to go on unchecked.

I have to admit you are right. When I flip burgers in Burger King I just think of those Polish Tramps who stand outside.

You know what though? Those fellow flippers they are mates for life, they stay with you for life, for life.........
