That team is going to concede a few!
I'd go
Westwood
Nilsson Dublin Breen Froggatt
Boateng Mcallister
Hadji Thompson Whelan
Keane

That was harder than I thought.

Since I've been alive - Hedman; Nilsson, Breen, Dann, Warnock; Thompson, Hadji, Boateng, Mcsheffrey; Dublin, Keane

Since I've been going to games regularly - Westwood; Cranie, Dann, Ward, Fox; Tabb, Henderson, Wise, Mcsheffrey; King, Stern John

Hmm, it's a tough one.

Off the top of my head I would say

-------- Oggy

Phillips Peake Kilcline Downes

Bennett Gynn McGrath Pickering

----- Houchen Regis

Not sure about the subs, but 2 of them would probably be Rodger and Sedgley.

Difficult to pick one over 50 years of watching City but mine would be something like this:

Glazier
Coop Peake Barry Cattlin
Bennett Gibson Yorath Hutchison
Wallace Hudson

The subs would be from:
Ogrizovic Clements Curtis E Hunt
Ndlovu Carr Martin

I can’t argue with most of your choices there Sid. We’ve both picked Bennett & Hutchison on the wings – I’d have given anything to see those two play in the same team!

Several of your picks nearly made it into my list. It’s nice to see you’ve mentioned Neil Martin – a hugely underrated player and a great favourite of mine. Assuming of course that you didn’t mean Aaron Martin

Lol!! Whenever this crops up I usually arrive at more or less the same team but some are absolute certs for me. Glazier was the best by far in goal, Roy Barry the finest centre back I've seen for us, Ian Gibson as the midfield genius and Ian Wallace as the best striker we've had, a gnat's in front of the Hud. I always have to pick Terry Yorath too as every team needs someone like him and he was superb.

You are right about Neil Martin, he did a huge job in keeping us up in 1968. I always feel as if I should put Dave Clements in too. He could play anywhere and never let City down, so the ideal sub. I do feel for the younger fans who never got to see most of these legends play.
