Me and my wife were having a chat yesterday and towards the end she said “ blow out feel the breeze” to mean I was wrong .
Then I thought my particular pharse when someone was lying was chinny rekon I’ve not heard either of those for years

An ex-girlfriends mum once said to me (after I'd been cheeky to her) "You're shootin' for a bootin'" .I think she meant to say "You're cruising for a bruising"

This was the first one I thought of and I am glad it has died out. The N and the P words seem to have gone thankfully and the W seems to have also disappeared.

The word that seems to be used a lot amongst the youngsters is retard and every time they use it my heart sinks.

Joey Deacon, remember that growing up watching Blue Peter, was an awful thing that kids used them for each other.

Never knew where joey came from. Was always used to mean someone’s slave or that you’re doing things for others when I was a kid. Like “I ain’t getting that, I ain’t your Joey”
