Agree with some that the L1 relegation season felt a lot worse than the L2 season. The L1 season started badly, never improved and was entirely depressing bar the Checkatrade win, the whole time wearing a mostly white home kit.
L2 was strangely galvanising from my point of a view, a weird "Yeah, okay, my team's shit and in the bottom division but it's my team and I'm still here supporting them". It brought an arrogance when we'd sell 2-4k tickets for away games and take up entire stands in someone else's stadium and was the first time in years we'd had a real connection with the players and manager. Obviously didn't end too badly either!
