Anyone else watching? All episodes were streamed at the same time, from yesterday. Some excellent reviews.

Just watched the first episode now and thought it was brilliant!

Not going to bother watching it. I'll just wait for your detailed description of the entire plot.

Thought you already had that, Hill, or do you want me to start going into attire, diet and automobile selection?

I have heard say from a few critics that if you like Breaking Bad you will like this.

One thing I immediately see that is different is though that
Walter White started off as a good man, whereas this Marty appears to be far from that and looks to be a snivelling, spiteful shit from the off.

Sneaky edit!
Wasn't sneaky at all, both my missus and my daughter were standing right besides me when I did it.

If I was going to be sneaky I would have quickly pointed to the sky and said ,'Ooh, look, barn owl! and done it while they were momentarily distracted.

Do you have them both checking your posts or something? ;)

Would say not a lot happens at times, so some may struggle with that a bit, but I found it brooding, dripping with sweat and tension packed. Brilliantly acted by the two main leads too.

Think it has the potential to run for a few series and get better and better as it goes.

Am now on episode 5.

But then on the not a lot happening at times, things have just picked up again in 4 and 5.

Hopefully will have the whole thing watched by end of play tomorrow.

Anyone else watched the whole thing yet?

Won't give anything away, only to say I really, really loved it and I do think the Breaking Bad comparisons are justified.

Role on season 2.

Enjoying it so far, watched up until about halfway through the 3rd.
Found episode 3 and 4 did drag a little, but then it picked up at the end of 4 and into 5 and then the tension was really cranked up right through to the finale.

So now I know not to expect any major plot points or deaths in episode 3 or 4 but to be ready for something potentially major at the end of episode 4 and into 5 and right through into the finale.

Cheers pal.

watched 1 and 2 and it hasn't really done much for me at the moment to be honest.

I'm really enjoying it after 2 episodes. I am a fan of slow paced shows though. The Wire is my all time favourite.

loved the wire apart from the last series which I thought was too far fetched. Perhaps I should go into detail about the ending just in case Otis hasn't seen it!

Yep. I am definitely looking for some clarification.

I just thought people might give up because it is slow around episodes 3 and 4 I found and I noticed people on the net saying the same thing.

You can't complain too much, hill, as I am only trying to help and I could have quite easily told you about Ruth dying and Rachel getting raped, but I didn't did I, so be thankful for small mercies.

I will not mention about the lad losing his leg on the farm either.

fuck you Otis - in Titanic the ship sinks and in King Kong the monkey dies. How do you like it?

As long as the monkey didn't die on the ship I am pretty chilled about to be quite honest.

Oh and while we're at it, I never got to see the end of Gone with Wind, despite watching the film several times. Did Rhett give a damn in the end or not?

Excellent program and can see the Breaking Bad similarities.
Bad (but likeable) man gets involved in gang crime and spends most of his time escaping from near impossible positions to keep his family and himself alive.
Agree with Otis there are long times with seemingly no action but its all brewing up and the occasional extreme violence keeps it going.
Can't wait for series 2 and more, this thing has got legs!!
