The highest share of the vote since Blair in 2005 is of course portrayed as a negative. Brexit is not going well, we have less than a year to go and the Tories don't know what they're doing with it. They didn't know what to do when the Leave vote won and they still don't know what they're doing now. The policies have popular support until people are told they are Labour policies-such is the effectiveness of a right wing media in convincing the general public to vote against their own self interest. Jerry's a Trot, Jerry wants the IRA to kidnap your children, Jerry hates Britain, etc etc. When he got a national platform for a month people saw a different side, and they will again when the next election comes.

The Tories will pledge to continue underfunding schools, to not pay public workers properly and to let big businesses off the hook. Is that really the winning formula?

You can make up all the excuses up you want.

The result was nowhere near good enough. Ànd if it is kept up the Tories will be back in yet again. And people like yourself will be happy again as long as the Tories are a seat away from getting a full majority.

The difference is that I am not happy with Labour losing election after election.

But when you consider who the leaders have been there is no surprise.

What, like running the country? If Brexit wasn’t happening the government would solely be running the country. Brexit is the distraction.

Was just in a Meeting with one of my importers. Getting a German transport firm with „ movement guarantee „ ( for alcohol transport in Britain) is getting harder. They asked why are they, the UK, doing Brexit? The transport costs are now higher than they were. I don’t know if this has to do with Brexit, but my importer thinks that it is. I can’t explain why we are making life potentially more complicated for importers. Aaron Banks leave.eu is in trouble about moaning about Muslim immigrants. How do I explain leave going on about Muslims to concerned importers from the UK? The EU is called a „christian club“ by some critics.

That is more a normal rant from yourself than making a point.

So you agree that Brexit helped Corbyn just about get the majority vote away from the Tories? Then you try and call it just a distraction.

So prices are going up although we are still in the EU? Must be a reason to leave then.

As you can see I can also twist things when I want to.

These aren't excuses they are objective facts. It would be a lot easier to get in with the extra 40 Scottish seats we used to have in the bag before a decade of neoliberalist centrism lost them for good. It will also be a lot easier to get in with a left wing populist pushing popular policy positions.

I've said a million times the policy matters more than the man. So find me a more presentable politician with the same ideas and I will back them. None forthcoming so far though.

30% of the electorate never votes-why is that? We know that age and income correlate well with turnout. Who do you think would get most of that 30%?

Millions won't vote for Corbyn as they don't trust his past. So how can policies be more important than the man?

Nobody. As if they wanted to vote they would. And how many didn't vote as they didn't know what to vote for?

There was nearly 2m more votes for leave than remain. If everyone was forced to vote maybe there would have been nearly 3m more voting leave than remain.

No I don’t. I think Corbyn got a higher than expected vote because May couldn’t motivate people and Corbyn did motivate people. Corbyn is not anti Brexit. So that can’t be the reason.

Prices are going up because of the fall of the pound and uncertainty because of Brexit.

People are looking for alternatives to the UK.

May did nothing to motivate anyone. She kept her gob shut all the way through.

Corbyn wanted Brexit. May didn't.

I do know that, despite claiming to carrying out the wishes of the majority of the referendum vote, she was unable to achieve a majority in parliament. It should have been a piece of cake. It wasn’t. Work it out.

But both major parties are pro Brexit or at least pro respecting the outcome of the referendum. Between them they got 82.4% of the vote.

Yes, that’s right, but it’s the Tories‘ baby and she had the right wing media on her side, which the leavers read. Amazing that she couldn’t get a parliamentary majority in the circumstances. Remainers are supposedly going to vote labour at the municipals as there is no credible anti Brexit party in the FPTP system. Punish the Tories.

No it isn’t the Tories baby at all. The labour hierarchy are far more in favour of an EU exit. Embarrassing lack of knowledge again.

Council elections are an irrelevance and attract pitiful turnouts. They are the one area where the Lib Dem’s can and do succeed.

They are the party against Brexit

Let’s see how they do

You’re too busy contemplating what is happening to think about why it’s happening. You have to look beyond the smoke and mirrors and see the bigger picture. Do you think that this latest attempt to character assassinate Corbyn has come about by coincidence? I think it has more to do with the way the measured approach he took towards the Russian spy poisoning as opposed to the gung ho approach from the government and a distraction and discrediting was needed ahead of the facts (like they have come out this afternoon) coming out and proving that a measured response while the facts are being confirmed was the correct initial response. As suggested by Corbyn from the off.

If that’s true why are we having completely made up stories like he handed over secrets to foreign spies and stories like attending a Jewish festival being spun into anti-Semitic behaviour? If they had something to assassinate him with they would have done it by now without the need for spin and fabrication. This is something far more cynical and you’re so obsessed with believing an image of Corbyn you’ll believe now and ask questions later, if at all. Talk about having the wool pulled over your eyes. And so willingly to.

Because it is people like you that makes up the bullshit then makes out it was said by those who want rid of him.

If you say I am wrong about you then you will show some proof where someone other than yourself has accused Corbyn of selling secrets.

Genius, you're saying your more concerned about people who point out the BS than the people putting it out there in the first place!

Would surely be a disgrace if a Conservative MP falsely accused the leader of the opposition of being a spy selling secrets.

No, but I think that a dark clandestine organisation is behind Salisbury. Most probably to do with Russia with Putin‘s knowledge. I also think we seem to be having difficulties in proving it. I hope we have something to put on the table in answer to Russia‘s demands, otherwise this could be embarrassing.

What BS have I made up exactly? You do know that the MP who falsely accused Corbyn of selling secrets had to make a full retraction, publicly apologised and made a substantial donation to a charity of Corbyns choice? You clearly don’t which probably explains your clueless rant. You do know that the spy in question was here on diplomatic papers so had access to Westminster and therefore met multiple MP’s from all parties who funnily enough aren’t being singled out and publicly named? You clearly don’t which probably explains your clueless rant. You do know that the alleged secret was in fact a photo copy of an article that had appeared in a British tabloid? You clearly don’t which probably explains your clueless rant?

Go away and educate yourself on some of the things that have been going on over the last few weeks, while you’re at educate yourself on the things you’ve missed by allowing yourself to be come preoccupied with the bullshit around Corbyn that’s distracted you as designed to. Then like I said earlier when the penny has dropped come back to me and we’ll have an adult conversation about it.

Have you considered that we know the truth but can't use it as evidence as it has come from another spy?

It is said that half of those expelled from other countries are known spies. The situation is and always has been complex.
