Peterborough have signed Nuneaton pair Aaron Williams and Callum Chettle.

Not too sure why we weren't in for both to be honest. Williams is a profilic scorer at non league level and still only 23. Chettle was supposed the best young player st that level

Ship out Tudgay, MAF, Phillips.

We haven't got the budget for that. In the summer maybe. That is why people said at the start it was a 2 year project. You can't build a side in two transfer windows.

Mogga has stated he has missed out on his chosen first set of targets.

1 week to get the players in that will make a real difference to the team for the promotion push.

Wouldn't be surprised if we don't sign anyone perm this week and we head into the loan market from Feb.

I still think Hooi would have been worth an end of season contract.

I don't think all the targets have necessarily been missed. But can see a couple of people coming in are likely to be loans.

And fuck Off fortune definitely now if we can along with tudgay

Where to? I love this assumption you can just off load them. Also if you want to sign a player you phone them up and they have been waiting for a call from Coventry all their life.

It's gone very quiet in the western front now with transfers. Mogga has lost out on his initial transfer targets.

Probably has, but I am sure there are irons in the fire. With January transfers I think they either get done quickly or get stacked up until the end. Of course some of the secondary targets could be loans, which gives us a window beyond January.

Mogga was apparently interested in this guy over the summer. Joined Leeds today

Leeds United have signed midfielder Toumani Diagouraga from Brentford on a two-and-a-half-year deal. #lufc

BBC says 'outside the UK'
We keep talking about transfer targets but we still have two new signings that haven't played a minute yet. Still say our number one need is a goal-keeper. A reliable, experienced GK will do wonders for our 'fragile' defence.

I read that about Nick Proschwitz earlier and thought it was hilarious.

Would you have him back? Probably I would. I don't think we saw the best of him.

And I don't mean taking his shorts down!

Hopefully there's plenty of activity going on behind the scenes, three players are required. At least. A handy centre forward, a steady and un-Ramage-like Centre Half and a pacey wide player.

Matt Smith would be an ideal forward to give us an edge up front (as stated elsewhere), maybe Liverpool's Jack Dunn as the wide player and as for a CB, I dunno. Doesn't seem to be many available, tbh.

The predicted rush to sign Walsall players hasn't happened yet.

The predicted rush to sign Walsall players hasn't happened yet.

Reading and Preston North End are lining up moves for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw.

The Championship sides are looking to bolster their attacks and preparing to test Walsall’s resolve.

Bradshaw has scored 14 goals in 29 games for the League One high-flyers this campaign, after netting 20 times in 37 appearances last season.

I wonder if he will refuse to play and force the issue? Or is he more professional than a certain Bury player?
