No one knows what is sustainable as no one knows who is deciding this investment is a worthwhile consideration.
We do know that the football
League had evidence the losses are to be funded. If these funds are generated by one or two high risk investors who are gambling on a specified endgame then it doesn't matter if 1 or 6,000 are in Sixfields. Indeed if promotion was achieved then much of the speculators funds will be recouped almost immediately.
Crowds mean nothing and negative publicity even less.
That's very true we don't know what losses that Joy is prepared to allow the fund to take, and it might be that she's willing to risk it all. Unfortunately this does mean that if Plan A isn't a new stadium then we're going to be playing at Sixfields for a long time (or until the money runs out).
