either of those has to be easier to get fans on board than a "pack the place / NOPM " discussion, which simply wont get traction.

If everyone sat in the stand behind the dug outs, it could be billed as "standing behind the team, but against the owners"

I dont think you can get round there if your ticket doesnt say it

My opinion is NOPM would likely get us to where we will be at the end of JR 2 in half the time.
However would never have a go at someone for disagreeing.
Same with the Northampton debacle. Felt quickest way we would be back would be via non attendance.
No way those turning up should be abused though.

Not been to the City this season at all, haven't spent a single penny thus far. I think this cements it for me now too :
I hate the twats who have trashed it all, they haven't really invested in another squad again, we got lucky with a few hot loans last term, we haven't done that this one, the club is disintegrating, the manager looks battered and bewildered by it all and now resembles all his predecessors, they ramped my favourite ticket area in block 37 up from £18 to £24 without any justification, hardly anyone I know goes now anyway, there are better things to do than keep this club on life support which only favours SISU. If the poisonous bastards fuck off then I may return but I hope they make it quick or I will have moved on altogether.
I've given them 40 years solid support, 30 games a season for at least 25 of those too but it doesn't feel like our club anymore anyway, fair play to those who persevere but I think you are flogging a dead horse and the hedge fund are taking the piss out of your loyalty. Shame, I've met some great people following City.

I hear you're pain Ashdown, But don't give up just yet . All Sky Blues Fans must stick together and get rid of these Bastards.

As it says in the Sky Blues song, we'll fight till the game is won. :stop:

It's a stupid argument. Boycott games and show any interested party the loyal fan base fucks off if they don't like the owner.

It's bollocks.

Protests are one thing but don't see how boycotting home games helps things.

Any interested party needs a willing seller first. That won't happen till JR2 has had all it appeals and failed.
Or it's no longer financially viable to stay as owners of the club whilst waiting for JR2 to run its course.
In my opinion

So has this topic not been discussed before in previosu threads?
Why open aa new thread on the topic unless attention seeking simply find the old thread and add a comment?
Finally why open a thread again on NOPM when the team arguably need our support more than ever when we are bottom of the league?

Just to attention seek. I got very little attention when I was younger and this helps me through the hard times.

Just out of interest what are the time parameters for bringing up a topic that has been discussed in the past?
Or is it just a one shot saloon?
If that's the case how do we decide the one time when we can discuss a topic, it would be a real shame that as things change over time we choose the wrong moment to discuss it.
Anyway we have your contribution on the debate (it's bollox and its attention seeking to even discuss the pros and cons of it. )
As I say your welcome and thanks for that.

No the reason for the timing is stated in the first paragraph of the OP, if you care to read it.
You probably didn't read it to be fair though because it's bollox.

If SISU's end game is squeezing the club to death why would they support the club financially?
It just delays what you claim they want to achieve

Their end game: they continue to keep the club alive on minimal funding, while pursuing litigation against the council in the hope that one of the JRs eventually sticks.
If that happens they sue the council for millions in lost revenue, pay off the so called loans and with CCFC no longer required they will pull the plug.

For NOPM is counter intuitive, the first wave of this probably reduce our fan base by 4-5k (ST or floaters) which probably never will return unless we are in the championship or further. To cut this further would force the club to cut more players and basically relegate us. Even IF our owners left at that stage, would we see 10k fans return? No chance people will want to watch league two football regardless of who is in charge.

Look at other clubs, Hull had continual protests in and around the ground about their owners, likewise with Leeds. Look at Valencia, they had about 10000 angry fans outside of the stadium for every bad result until something was done.

NOPM is apathy at its best

but if they got all that, which is doubtful, why would they pull the plug, the club? Even if they sold the club for £10,000 it would add to the pot they were walking away with. I've no idea how these people thing so not saying you're wrong just asking the question?

Who knows what they will do, liquidate, administration or if they are very kind put it up for sale for a nominal amount.

What reason would they have for admin though, wouldn't that be pointless if all the debt is to them?

(Again, just asking)

Surely you've just answered your own question. Why liquidate or admin for nothing and get paid less for the pound of your own debt when you could sell the club for a "nominal amount" and put that in their till? You would always take the money.

Honestly still can't believe that this even a fooking discussion.

Supporters behaving like a hedge fund!

Let's starve our club of money till they run out of business.

Isn't that EXACTLY the same tactic that dodgy funds do to put businesses in distress and buy on the cheap.

Yet the very same people who are proposing this course of action are those that hate the Hedge Fund SISU and all that they stand for.

I wish they could understand the word irony.

I really don't understand NOPM-why would any supporter want to damage our club so much that it would lead to its possible extinction?

Because they think by taking City to the brink of collapse that a knight in shining armour will come along and solve all our woes?

What we need is a Fairy Fooking Godmother-to wave a twatting magic wand and turn a pumpkin into a new stadium and a few rats in the council into people who actually have the best interests of the club at heart!

Honestly have a fookin word with yourselves.

It went in off Ferguson's beard....
