Agreement may well have been in place then at last minute Lincoln come in and he'd prefer to go there. Nothing signed off so tough. I believe that we'd got an agreement with Notts and the player but he reneged on it because he prefered another option that came along and legally there was nothing to stop him. Even is there was would we want to sign a new player knowing he'd come here because we forced him to honour an agreement and he'd prefer to be elsewhere?

Not the same type of player. Eccles is more defensive and would be more like a Kelly position. Westbrooke is probably the most likely to step up into Bayliss' shoes but he's more in the passing vein rather than driving runs forward (which arguably Burroughs might do). From the little I've seen heard I think Burroughs is a bit more forward than that (say Hiwula) but ask someone like SBChimp - he'd know a lot more about how he plays.

Ben turner gone to Notts County (with Doyle and O'Brien) Seems like they, Sunderland and Bristol Rovers have become offshoots of our club!
Looking forward to tomorrow and hoping that the club manages to get hold of the players we are after next week. 3 points, no injuries and a speedy recovery to all the sick notes! (Daft - but if JJ was fully fit and Max was fully recovered, we'd all have a different slant on things)

Robins is good at managing expectations.
I don't mind a loan striker. Such is the turnover of players at this level, permanent or otherwise, staying a year is quite a decent stint! Armstrong and Murphy were both loans.

I'm shocked we haven't been linked with Danny Rose from Mansfield again. A gamble could have been Lawrence Shankland. Scored 50 goals in 61 games in Scotland last year (albeit at a low level). Scored 4 in his first game for Dundee United today.

I have never posted a rumour on here before. However, a bloke I met in the pub (I know) at Birmingham today told me it was a dead cert that Bright is signing on loan AND that wasps were out of the Ricoh by Christmas.
How can this not be true?
