Nation's league

[Nick]

Good start

[Paul Anthony]

What on earth was he doing

[Ccfcisparks]

Theresnothing morepointless than this "competition" anyway

[Flying Fokker]

Deserved a thread!

[chiefdave]

Glad I decided to go out rather than watch the match

[Ccfcisparks]

Mfuni is better than all of our defenders

[Evo1883]

Should have sacked him after the WC

[mmttww]

[Ccfcisparks]

I alsothink O'reilly will end up as a CM and not a LB

[mmttww]

Defending for that Torres chance was comical.

[Paul Anthony]

How is this still only 1-0.

[Ccfcisparks]

This defending is like us Vs arsenal

[Evo1883]

We look dreadful at the back , rodri is tremendous

[Evo1883]

Petition for every player to tuck their shirts in

[Ccfcisparks]

Really like MLS. Think he was great against us too

[Ccfcisparks]

Really classy goal

[Ccfcisparks]

Kane should have played Gordon in. Very greedy

[Nick]

Best game ever

[xcraigx]

Funny old game, isn't it? I think we're playing alright on the whole.

[Paul Anthony]

Cheers, Cucurella

[Otis]

I think we have looked very decent at times.

So many mistakes at the back though. Horrendous

And then at the other end, when we have been decent, we have made a lot of wrong choices.

But we have looked dangerous against a top defence

Been a pretty good watch to be fair. Helps I don't care too much about this competition.

[lifeskyblue]

Enjoyed that half; the mistakes at the back from England, Spains pressing, England digging in and turning it round. If only England had put this sort of effort in against Argentina…

[Paul Anthony]

That's a pen

[Nick]

Awful pen

[Paul Anthony]

Did a Beckham.

[Nick]

Wouldn't have counted anyway

[Ccfcisparks]

Awful pen

Harsh. He slipped.

[Otis]

Too many awful mistakes

[Paul Anthony]

Two goals, absolutely gifted.

We don't look bad going forward. We can't defend for toffee though.

[Ccfcisparks]

Mfuni needed

[Otis]

Mfuni needed

Mfuni would have scored the pen too.

[mark82]

We need some defenders.

[Nick]

Wow

[mark82]

Completely fucked this up.
