Kept saying it was "frustrating" and "disappointing".

So what is he going to do about it?!

Didn't seem happy about Murphy's penalty; 'the next time a player takes a penalty and doesn't smash it as hard as he can he'll come straight off'.

Said that if the next person to take a penalty doesn't put his foot through the ball then he will Sub off straight away.

He didn't like Geoff Foster's question asking if he thought Colchester wanted it more.

Quite often you don't have to smash it though. It's all about placement.

Murphy's today was far too close to the keeper.

Don't understand for the life of me why Joe Cole didn't take it, or one of the senior players.

F*$#ing quitter! Sack him for that alone! Does he not know there are people on here even as we speak, furiously fiddling with their abacus's to prove we can still make the play offs?

I missed FM when he left GMK in 2013.

He's the manager, it's like the players do what they want. Why aren't they doing it in training?

BBC C&W don't like asking serious questions do they:

    1. Why was Joe Cole playing a holidng midfield role and Vincelot playing a number 10 role?
    2. What is your reason for not droping Sam Ricketts when he has been poor for months
    3. Why are you persisting with SR as captain?
    4. Corner tactics: why have two players within 10 yards of the corner taker? Better still why take short corners?
    5. How the fuck are you going to turn this around?!

Vincelot only did that towards to the end, I'd guess to try and win headers.

They did address that before speaking to Mowbray, they said to a caller that during the game Carl Baker noted that Cole dropped back to prevent Colchester overrunning the midfield and he thought it was a good move.

Months ago they should have pointed out that he has form for post-Xmas declines and asked what he was doing to stop it happening again.

It was a good move. Joe Cole went central and Vincelot more advanced and it provided us with our best spell of the game.

It was clearly working. We had yet again though, no cutting edge to our game and failed to break down a team that had conceded 87 goals in the season.

Sums us up at the moment.

I agree with pts 2,3 massively.
Seriously what impact does he make as a captain? Zero!
Pts 5 I'd like to hear also. Something must be going on behind the scenes.... Too many have given up and look like they want out

    It's a weirdly desperate comment.

A penalty kick is all about placement.

it was quite apparent that they did.

I sit in 16. There were a few skirmishes in front of me where you could clearly see the Colchester players had more desire to come away with the ball.

Of course. It's because they are desperate to survive and we have clearly given up.
