My guess.

He wants 3 signings, but one is Walsh. If he gets him, we can’t afford anyone else

Not necessarily.

I doubt we’ll go above 50% capacity this season. If that’s the case, we won’t really be impacted as much as clubs who operate toward 70-100% capacity consistently. Clubs like Forest, Derby and so on.

Last season we would get around 25-30% capacity of SA. Similar to the touted planned capacity caps. When fans can watch games we’ll probably hit that consistently with the increased away attendances too.

Shirt sales are up 68% compared to last season and we’ll see how this membership model pans out too.

Given our circumstances, I do feel that COVID has potentially levelled the playing field a bit in a weird way.

Really disappointing from Tom that. Since he came onboard he was slowly rebuilding credibility in the Telegraph, this crap is typical of their output from last few years though.

Except for breaking the interest in Walker two weeks ago...

What an over-reaction. Hardly even click bait, Robins literally said he was closing in on another signing.

Well he must feel a bit stupid as he's deleted his tweet about transfer news at 9

Got the traffic to his article though so can delete it now... Didn't happen

Which was on twitter before that (and that was only due to us trying to sign him last year) Tom seems like a genuine nice kid and a city fan but he doesn't have any ins with the club and gets all his info from either cwr, twitter or here

Posters keep talking about Walsh, but isn’t that dead and buried? I know Johnson has gone from Bristol City, but I thought he was quoted as saying that Walsh was integral to their plans? I guess that may have changed with managerial change, but not necessarily.

Walsh or Garner and I’ll start dreaming silly dreams for a newly promoted club.

I do wonder if a Sheaf type who can play CB might be better for the team though. Allow the wingbacks to push on a little more which suits their strengths (especially Kasta )

I dunno. Maybe. Taller, maybe better defensively, can slot in at the back. I worry Walsh would leave us very small in the middle of the park. But he is quality and I’d want him if he’s available.
