Bulgaria international and Levski player, Vladimir Gadjev, has turned down a serious offer from China in order to continue with FC Levski the struggle for Bulgaria’s championship title.

Vladimir Gadjev attracted the interest of Japanese football legend Takeshi Okada who is the manager of Hangzhou Greentown FC. The Chinese team failed to draw in Gadjev though they offered him a double salary compared to the one he gets in FC Levski.

Thus, Gadjev will remain in Levski till the end of the football championship and FC Levski do not hurry to part with him.

Apart from that FC Levski hold negotiations with a foreign player who is supposed to strengthen the half line.

Vladimir Gadzhev then tested Buffon's reflexes with a low, rasping shot which the Juventus keeper collected with relative ease.

Although I know little about any of the players they are all ours and will be here for a proper pre season, would like to see us bring a striker in and a few others but we seem to be heading back to having our own players again.

Don't say that, you'll be called delusional!

Interesting that he signed for Kuban and then they couldn't afford him and let him go

It does seem like a bit of forward planning for the first time in a long time

For those that may not want to watch the Peterboro-Cov game on Sky and perhaps want to see our new Vlad the Impaler (if he's a defensive midfielder ), Portugal vs Bulgaria is being lived streamed at 7,45pm on the Bet365 site.

After I actually checked the squad news, sadly no, Nick.....

From the Bulgarian FA page:

"Ivailo Petev announced a group of 24 players for the friendly games against Portugal on 25 March in Leiria and Macedonia on 29 March in Skopje. The list contains the following names: Goalkeepers: Vladislav Stoyanov (Ludogorets), Bozhidar Mitrev (Sheriff, Mol), Blagoy Makendzhiev (Beroe)
Defenders: Georgi Terziev ( Ludogorets), Alexander Alexandrov (Levski) , Nikolay Bodurov (Midtjylland , Den ) , Vasil Bozhikov (Kasimpasha, Tur ) , Strahil Popov (Kasimpasha, Tur) , Zhivko Milanov (APOEL , Cyp) Atanas Zehirov (Beroe) , Anton Nedialkov (Litex) .
Midfielders and Forwards: Svetoslav Dyakov (Ludogorets), Simeon Slavchev (Apollon, Cyp) Kristian Malinov (Litex), Ivaylo Chochev (Palermo, Ita), Mihail Aleksandrov (Legia, Pol) Spas Delev (Beroe), Toni Tasev (Pirin), Alexander Tonev (Frosinone, Ita), Todor Nedelev (Botev), Ivelin Popov (Spartak M, Rus), Yannis Karabeliov (Slavia), Dimitar Rangelov (Konyaspor, Tur), Marcelo Nasimento da Costa - Marcelinho (Ludogorets).

The preparation for the two friendly games begins on 21 of March in Pravetz. "

So he's not in the squad for the 2 friendlies, but this is being seen as a chance to blood younger players. Looking at Vlad's stats, he played 338 mins in the Euro qualifiers so he will probably still play in the Euros, unless he gets injured beforehand.
