Simms who at this point is odds on to start up front didn't make one good run, his touch was still heavy and he couldn't head the ball. His best header was in defence. Thomas was still on holiday and Allen, BTA, Wilson maybe they just haven't got it.

I reckon even some of the free agents that are being called shit are better than what we have available tbf. Personally I'd probably get the best loan possible and if that keeps Dovin out when he's back then so be it unfortunately. Yeah, I'd take Gunn, for example, but if I was him and we were interested, I would wait to see if a club that could offer the number 1 shirt for the foreseeable came in first.
