Moment of the Season?

Top 5 Moments:
QPR home game and buying the stadium
Thomas equaliser v Blackburn and end of match celebrations
Winning the league v Pompey
Beating Leciester
Regaining top spot v Boro

All great moments and even buying the stadium would’ve been ‘enough’ most seasons. This has been hands down the best season I have ever experienced and will likely never be topped.

All very true but I hope this is just another camp as we go up the mountain and this is not the high point

I was talking to my partner this morning and was just saying how ‘I’ve been waiting all my life for this’ because my first (league) game was in Division 1 after we got relegated.

It does feel like we hit a peak but you look at Forest, Burnley, Brentford, Palace and even Leicester… there’s genuine hope that we can come up, stay up and even win a major trophy again or qualify for a European competition.

I’m still quite young so to see Cov win a major tournament and to qualify for any European competition are on my ‘bucket list’.

I found myself in the Larkin about 3 months ago and some guy sang karaoke WLADITT....
The place was electric...
Never been so proud to be from Coventry...

Grimes lifting the trophy. Best thing since May 1987.
The speeches were v emotional, definitely enters my Top 5. The performance today matches that of champions; we battered a solid Wrexham team who don’t usually lose.

Side note: arguably the loudest home support (I experienced as an away fan), this season was muted.

God dammmm
Pure filth

Yesterday was number 1, possibly in my lifetime. Blackburn away, Boro home, QPR all amazing too love this team

Beating Boro at home to end the 'wobble' but ultimately Wright's second goal in the match with the assist from Rushworth.

I agree Sunday was sensational.

Many special moments but purely in terms of promotion these. Managed to get to all games except Swansea.

The 2nd half performance at Swansea that really made it extremely likely we would get promoted. Watched in a bar.

The total outplaying of Preston when we looked a promotion team.

The Portsmouth goal against Middlesbrough that sealed promotion.

Although in my eyes we were promoted, celebrating the mathematical confirmation with fans, players and staff.

The Portsmouth win , performance and atmosphere confirming title.Incredible night.

Lets not forget these moments too. The winning goal against Derby when I was in concourse. Actually that win ensured promotion. We didnt know that at the time.

The final whistle at Hull which ensured we were champions. We didnt know that at the time.

Has to be the last home game though. Just surperb day.

A moment that goes under the radar is in the Sheffield united game at home Jamie Allen breaking up a bit of play and running with the ball and playing a little outside of the right foot pass to Wright who then plays it across to BTA to make it 3-1

And I cant stand Sheffield united so always nice to bring that up

Many stand out moments, but I'd probably go for 0-0 at home v Sheff Weds. Goosebumps.
Really? I thought the Oxford 0-0 wipes the floor with that. 😀

As has been said it was the Boro home game for me-a real sliding doors moment. From the off everyone just so up for it and the crowd playing their part aswell. We came out of the traps really early and got the early goal which was a good settler for us all.
Cant help thinking back to the Boro away game and the Hackney miss at 2-2 that was blasted over the bar. My mate who’s a Boro fan still hasn’t forgiven him 😂

Considering it was Conway , yeah

After the Sheffield Wednesday draw, Listening to the results coming in on the drive home on the M4…

“And now over to the Riverside where there’s been a goal that impacts the top and the bottom of the table…”.
