I've got a horrible feeling a low turnout on Wednesday and a loss could knock every last bit of confidence out of us and a decent start will be long forgotten

As he's spent the money on Godden I think his first thought would be to see if Ponticelli can step up when he comes back. Either him or Bremang. Unless he can move someone on I don't think the budget will stretch to him buying yet another striker and I think the management/board would have to be asking about his picks given he's bought Hiwula, Chaplin, Baka and Godden and none of them seem to be decent enough in front of goal. So either the training for the strikers isn't right or he and his team are spending poorly.

Ponticelli won't step up when he comes back. He won't even be match fit. He's been sitting on the bench for Tranmere every game. Why he was sent there, only Robins knows.

We went 9 or 10 unbeaten and have now had a blip. But still, up into the play off places.

We will have these blips. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of luck and it'll end and we'll end up picking up points again.

I'm with ccfc4life. No need to panic yet.

O'Hare needs to be in the middle 3, he is most dangerous when he is on the ball and out wide he isn't as dangerous. Kelly in for Westbrooke for me. When we brought on Kastaneer and Biamou we didn't know who was playing upfront and lost our shape. Should have won that game. Missed Godden and we definitely miss Jobello. It is clear what Jobello offers when he isnt playing....width.

Maybe. He'd have a couple of quick games in the U23's soon after to see if he can stick the ball in the net and get a place on the bench.

The lack of goals is glaring, once again. We aren't a bad team but without being able to score goals it's all a bit pointless.

Could Bremang be any worse that what we are currently seeing, give him some game time, I'm getting desperate

I'd be surprised if there aren't better strikers than Baka in the lower reaches of non-league.

He can't be worse than Baka.

True, but before Jobello was injured we were saying how isolated Godden was up front because the likes of Jobello were playing so wide in a front three.

It was a bit annoying how their player on that side was booked in the first minute but Mccallum didn't try and get at him much for the rest of the game.

We're actually worse goals wise than last season in the sense that we scored in nearly every game last season but have had quite a few non scoring games already this

I'm convinced the slump's over and we'll score a hatful on Tuesday. Albeit a small hat

Yes both full backs played well. The fans have got it in for Mccallum cos he's playing instead of Mason. His crossing is much better.

Burton lost today with 9 shots on target. Not sure exactly what to do with that information.

Today showed how far away Biamou is. Not sure why Baka is getting so much criticism, at least you realised he was playing. Biamou offered nothing at all.

I've got a feeling next Saturday will have goals in it because of the way Peterboro play may suit us. Unfortunately they've got two clinical strikers...

We've dropped 2 points at Bolton, 2 at Oxford, should've won against Tranmere (so 3 dropped there). That accounts for 7 massive points dropped. Imagine how strong our promotion push would have been. If we don't win this game, I feel we seriously need to go back to the drawing board to figure things out.

That’s now 9 points dropped and counting...

I fear that we’re in for a hiding vs Peterborough due to our current lack of confidence and their potent strike force.

No doubt it has goals in it, sadly I think mostly for Peterborough.

I suppose it's a good time in the season to get a blip out of the way. That's if this is a blip of course, the fact the strikers are looking about as potent as farts in the wind is worrying.

Biamou and Kastaneer would even last 45 minutes between them let alone 90 - we have two reserve forwards nowhere near at a level they can start games

6 games.
97 shots.
3 goals.

That's fucking woeful.

At least I'm going to London for a night out now, otherwise it would be Samaritans time.

MK were there for taking today but thought we looked bang average. Lots of possession but didn't really cut through much. We didn't look like a team going for promotion imo. The balls in the box were probably ok but our players don't get on the end of them so im not sure which is the problem. MK could have nicked that today like Tranmere. Some good ability on ball in our team but really missing that killer pass and finishing.
