Yes he's not been perfect, but he has at least made the effort to use his physique and put himself about. But he needs more help from the midfield.

He's a proven Championship performer and absolutely mopped up at Preston. He'll be fine.

To be absolutely brutally fair bad games are Asantes norm, holding thr ball up isn't his game and its definitely not Simms game either so we have 2 ping pong bats upfront no wonder its not sticking

Poor first half. I know alot of people don't care about this cup but I do so it's frustrating to see such a boring game

Allena Nd Andrews both below aprt. KKH no way is ready to be a "replacement" for mve either so hopefully we don't sell Milan

All could change with a good kick up the arse though. They all have talent and participate in the same training sessions after all. We should expect and deserve better performance imo

He’s trying hard. I don’t doubt that. And he’s rolled the CH well a couple of times. There’s just no craft or control.

It’s a poor game.

Nice to see Simms putting a shift in and using his physique. You can tell he’s causing them problems by the number of times they resort to fouling him. He does look a bit rusty but that’s hardly surprising given his lack of game time recently.

Brau is currently the only one that's got me thinking I wouldn't mind seeing him in for the player he's replaced atm. He's not had a flawless game but looks a decent player and should improve with games.
