I think the problem is, he has the ball and looks up and his 2 options are play it to simms or be greedy and hope he doesn't lose it. Unfortunately so far he's lost it every time. Alternative is pass to simms who will lose it anyway. Rock and a hard place

Slmms should be busting a gut to get in front of the defenders he just stands watching.
