Disagree re Allen, I think he’s been poor in possession and offered nothing offensively (nor has Shipley). And I like Allen as a player, but he’s not adding anything.

Ostigard has been great though.

Shipley just booted a 3 yard pass so hard at feet that it was impossible to control. That isn’t superior opposition.

This is the stuff that pisses me off. But then people come on at the end and say “oh well it’s a higher league and amazing opposition”.... Better opposition isn’t what made Rose get sent off, Hamer sent off, O Hare miss a sitter, give just really shitty passes losing the ball etc

I think the players are just getting nervous about making a mistake as it's so much more likely to be punished than last season, so the muscles are more tense and they become more likely to actually make the mistake.

It was but it was also really good skill from him to create the opening. He ducked and let the long ball from Leo bounce over his head before spinning and leaving the defender for dead as he collected the headed pass from Godden to create a 3-on-2; then it was a total waste.
