Happy with the team.

Little bit of perspective for those looking for any excuse to criticise; 8/11 starting tonight were regular starters in L1, and 1 of the remaining 3 (Wilson) didn’t even get a look in at that level.

Shows how well we’ve done this season in terms of some of the performances and the fact we aren’t doing the same as Wycombe. It probably also explains why we tend to make more silly mistakes than other teams. Hopefully with a year of experience in the Championship we’ll see less of that next year.

It’s been mentioned before but hope we’re not stretching kelly too much playing him twice a week as soon as he’s returned. I was surprised he played the full 90 on Saturday with a Tuesday game following. Assuming he feels good though so fingers crossed.

Ps none of the standard goal conceding errors tonight please city !

Bullied off the park, Hyam mistake for the first goal, Hamer red card early 2nd half and a Wilson howler when trying to chase the game. 0-2 defeat.

OR

Gritty 1-0. Ride our luck with them hitting the post twice, but O'Hare to nick a winner on the counter attack in the 87th minute.

Can't decide which.

In other predictions:

Grendel to spend the entire match thread only commenting on how bad Biamou is.
Earlsdon to spend the entire match thread arguing about how Walker should be doing better with that overhead kick from the half way line.
CC84Cov to see a pigeon sitting on a floodlight and somehow use it to justify an opinion that wasn't his in the first place.
Frostie to crash the internet when his stats spreadsheet hangs and we all miss the first goal.
Hill to wake up 2nd half before his night shift and get more likes with one gif than the rest of the match thread posts put together.
15 people who rarely post anything to let us know that Forest have scored against Luton.
Procdoc to shut down any negative sentiment by keep repeating that Boro paid 2.75 mill for Akpom.
Everyone to get far too drunk for a Tuesday night because we've won/lost*

I always feel left out when these things happen and I don’t get a mention.

Need to develop a personality.
