Unbelievably despite away games being a closed shop and the unfairness of the points system on all those fans that go to away games but strangely couldnt get tickets for Wrexham or Leicester the Middlesborough tickets are still on sale and reached 1200 points stage.

Have we been allocated 15000 tickets or is there another obvious reason why they never sold out within an hour ?

Yes thanks

People have other commitments..Work, Family, financial reasons etc.

Been done to death on here about the points system, you have a ticket and are going why feel the need to ask a question that’s been answered many times previously.

We’re top of the league and hopefully will still be by the time the Boro game comes around.

Expect to see you give the same response to the next person who starts spouting bollocks about closed shops and ballots next time they can't get a ticket for Leicester away

He's perfectly entitled to ask. Appreciate everyone's commitments and financial circumstances, but equally those who do complain about closed shops shouldn't moan when they cant get a Leicester or Wrexham ticket.

We all have commitments. We all work, have families etc but we dont make out the system is a closed shop because the one away game you want to go to in a season you cant because you dont make the sacrifices that others do

Created a new thread and asked a question that’s been done to death a thousand times.

Added a snarky comment at the end that we already know the answer too.

“Have we been allocated 15000 tickets or is there another obvious reason why they never sold out within an hour ?”

Close thread.

You've missed my point entirely, but let's see if you call out the next person who starts going on about ballots for asking 'a question that's been done to death a thousand times'

Has anyone else not had any payment taken from their account? I have had confirmation of purchase email etc, but not even a pending transaction from the bank

Still available to those needing to build their points… #ClosedShop

I genuinely panicked that I’d miss out on a ticket yesterday after realising it was 24+ hours after my sale window opened.

You sound a bit bitter. Lovely if you can get minimim of 1-2 days off work midweek. Sure every single fan getting up there midweek gets massive respect from us all.

The allocation is pretty small, 2.1k.

It’s only ever a ‘closed shop’ when it’s big away games. Midweek away days and cup games is where you grow your points and it’s the most cost efficient too. Millwall, Pompey, Boro, PNE away nets you an easy 80 points this side of the New Year. If these games were being sold out at 1200+ points, I’d be much more sympathetic of the need to have a ‘ballot system’.

The only midweek away game in 2026 is Sheff U as things stand (FA Cup could impact the fixtures). No doubt when away games like WBA, Bristol, Hull and Watford come about, the ‘closed shop’ brigades who want ballots will moan.

Well we are going and i look forward ro pointing out to people again if this doesnt sell out that we arent operating in a closed shop .. what we actually have is people annoyed they cant attend local easy to get to matches
It’s a classic case of ‘cakeism’, they want to have their cake and eat it.

It’s the games like Blues, Leicester, WBA, Oxford, Watford, Wrexham where people moan. The games that will definitely sell out in first 3 windows.

People never moan about it being a closed shop when we get Blackburn or PNE away on a midweek where we’ve got up to 4-6k if we want it.
