This is why future protests should be the same theme as Saturday's, and similar approaches.

Forget the satellite protests, and ones less well organised with shorter notice as they deflect attention from the protests that could and should get media coverage.

And if they won't come to Coventry, go to their homes. Coventry should be in Coventry, first day of league season, march on the football league as NTFC has been banging on about.

Keep it simple, keep the numbers up, less protests means more numbers, means more media coverage.

Can see your Trust are trying but they are being small time about a big issue. Hiding away in the Midlands won't solve anything. If you had those numbers outside the Football League HQ you would have caused major waves. You also need to engage with the wider football protest movement (who are better organised than you are) to join together in solidarity with you. It's not just a Cov problem, as I've said before "The Football League are not fit for purpose" and you will never get a better chance to expose that.

If it's organised properly, with a simple message of Coventry in Coventry, you would get decent numbers.

All these small random 'flashmobs' and the like do more harm than good, as they detract from what could and should be done.

I think your selling your fans short there. If you organise a protest at the Football League HQ and let your fans know in ample time it will be a success. Moreso, if you contact the Spirit of Shankly group, Football Supporter's Federation, Stand Against Modern Football not to mention fans of all the other FL clubs who have suffered at the hands of FL ineptitude you will get a good turnout.

You could even meet mob handed at Cov train station and travel down en masse to Euston. If you don't organise a proper London protest it will always be a case of what if.

Yes they were made aware,both BBC and Central covered the story. I presume you are talking about Sky on this. Jan can probably tell you more but Sky were informed and Jan contacted them this morning and they said due to the numbers they expected they didn't bother as they felt it wasn't news worthy.
The Daily Mirror printed about the march and a picture of the two Godiva's on Saturday as promised by the reporter who wrote the original article a couple of weeks ago. The one before the Sun told us to shut up and accept our move. Make of that what you will...

That's interesting. Certainly a mistake by Sky but the Sun's reaction?

I have heard that is an idea but to Northampton, not for the Bristol match but another yet to be decided, not to cause aggro but to stretch resources, becoming costly and unpopular will hasten our departure from Northampton
