I hate to bring up former players etc and tend to be very much against it. But I see McNulty has been released by Hibs according to Sky Sports. Would you be open to a return? Surely won’t be a queue of championship clubs waiting to sign him given his spell at Reading.
Personally after the way he played under Robins, with Biamou or Baka I feel we could see the best of him again. Thoughts?

You might have a better chance with Gael - January signing Gael Birgirimana leaves after playing just 36 minutes for the club

Forgetting the details, the straight answer is yes. Will it happen? Doubt it a lot.

Their manager was in the Scottish papers saying they were going everything they could to sign him. Made it sound like the hurdle was the amount Reading wanted and the size of his wages.

I was watching the highlights of the Notts County semi the other day, and was reminded that he scored 28 goals for us last season. I know that was a lower league, but the movement of our midfield would set up so many chances for him, i think he would be brilliant for us in League One. He knows where the barn door is.

Slumberland or some such would be in before us (mainly re: wages - plus it's practically in Scotland)

That's who he is contracted to. But he didn't play for them so they loaned him out.

McNulty still has another 3 years left on his Reading contract, so its highly unlikely they would release him on a free.

More likely to be loaned out again.

What’s with the McNulty noshing, let it go. John Marquis and Stockdale will make a much better strikeforce next season.

Get comfortable my friend, we're not going to see the end of such threads for the best part of a decade. Remember #CarlBakerDay???

This'll be worse, McNulty was actually consistently good for us for a while and helped us win something, unlike Baker who only played with any consistency after we got relegated.

Maybe an end to all talk about McNulty and Stockdale. That’d be cool.
