Still think he's the best we've got, and is the glue that keeps them all together and playing well

Yeah guys a class act for us. I imagine he'll make a great coach, if you watch whenever anyone has the ball he's always shouting, pointing, gesturing. He's the conductor of the back line

Been really impressed with him during this run. I felt he was a weakness at the stage of the season but he has really stepped up. Possibly he has greater confidence in Ostigard now who has been great in the last three matches.

Been a rock during the unbeaten run, I think Kelly has given Mcfadzen confidence by sitting in front - and that’s for the whole back 4/5

As an old fashioned centre-half he’s great, an inspirational barn storming leader of the defence & team, going to be so difficult to replace. I’m sure MR has looked at other options and there have been all sorts of names and rumours banded about, bit of a headache for the manager.

Remember when we first come back to the championship the general consensus was that the championship was beyond him at that point in his career and he’d be back up to Rose, Ostigard and Hyam, That was 4 years ago

The annual Writing Off of the Fadz has become quite the SBT event.

I've been guilty of it a couple of times myself.

I thought when Adebayo absolutely bodied him in the final that might be Robins cue to start phasing him out slowly, but he 100% deserves the shirt and armband at the moment. Long may it continue.

Yeah I’ve doubted him every year. And every year he’s proven me wrong. Someone’s going to have to replace him eventually. Now hoping it’s some £20m international CB in the Prem.

A lot of us have written him off before…I know I have.
As said above, while he’s big and hard and got a massive head and all that, he’s very good with the ball.
I’ve no idea how we managed to get him in league 1.

He can also ping a Hameresque 50 yard pass that floats over a full backs head and lands on Jay da Silvas instep

Just a shame we never managed to sign him when he was 25

McFadz does all the old fashioned centre back stuff well but should be given credit for his level of intelligence and his calmness, you rarely see him hacking the ball out to nothing, he makes best use of possession wherever he can.

Agree with that. I just think he is sloppy sometimes with the very simple passes. Bobby Thomas had a go at him a couple of times v Middlesbrough when balls were played behind him. Think there was one v Sunderland were it went behind him and out for a throw.

Has still been one of our best signings in recent years. Has always been a talker and organiser. Even if he does make a big mistake it doesn't seem to phase him, which for me is the mark of a good player.
