Well if he’s as good as some on here claim he will be a very sought after player in the summer. West Brom perhaps?

He'd have to dye his hair blue

He's played 1654 minutes in total which is the minutes equivalent of 18 matches. A goal every 414 minutes in the Championship. 4 from 18 matches. Not amazing but not awful either - about where you'd expect for a 3rd choice striker.

After a run of starts there are some signs he's adapting and improving again and the gap between his good performances are reducing. There are still some parts of his game that are very very raw and I doubt that will ever change. Think he's very much a confidence player too, his better peformances, not just at this level, seem to coincide with an early goal and his performances deteriorate the longer he goes without scoring.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on between now and the end of the season. If he puts together a string of perfomances he'll be accused of playing for a contract but we should all hope he does put some consistent performances together because it will mean we don't have to rush Godden back.

Yesterday I was getting worried when Walker was warming up that MR would replace Max but he didn’t - not that Walker is poor or anything but in that game Max was on his game - he had played 80 mins with Derby and was aware what their players could and couldn’t do including the bookings so I was relieved when he left him on

When I saw him on the touchline I was thinking 'please be to play WIth Biamou not as a replacement' because you just wouldn't have trusted him to put in the effort to stop the ball coming back at us. He'd have been useful to spring a counter attack as Derby would've been more aware of his ability and not wanted to take the risk of leaving him through on goal and thus not been willing to push up as much as they were, but he'd have needed someone next to him to try and win the ball in the first place.

They say that the letter most commonly used in the English language is E. A recent audit of SBT found it to be a tie between X,A & M

I wondered whether the plan was for him to replace Biamou but in that last 10 minutes Biamou did everything you would want in terms of game management, which may have caused a re-think.

Won some very clever fouls yesterday too to take the sting out the game. He put in an excellent performance.

How many strikers have we had at championship level worse than him? Nimely and Hines I can think of. Even Clive Platt scored goals in leagues 1 and 2

I sort of remember them was probably my first year of supporting us. I would’ve been about 6 years old so

Many worse many better, and that is why the extreme views some take on him are ridiculous.

I mean Baka has 11 league goals in 66 for us and Biamou 13 in 88... Coventry fans can't destroy Bakayoko and be in love with Biamou it's fucking insane logic

Could be wrong but I think had we given Baka the game time we have given Biamou, he would not have scored any less goals.

Would have probably improved as a player also and not have to worry about abuse from the stands.

Has Biamou gone from 4th or 5th striker to 2nd choice?
He's certainly doing his best to get a new contract. Good for him!

Be honest, is that what you want for the club? Is that the best direction for our future, having biamou as 2nd choice or 1st choice based off formation?

At no other club in this league would this be a Discussion, our fans are too emotional towards people who try rather than natural ability... Let me guess... Paul Telfer top 10 at City ever? Carl Baker top 5

Andy Morrell top 3

For some of our fan base he is actually bigger than the club itself.

Let's please say it how it is.

This season he's missed many chances, our fans completely bypass this as their emotional attachment to the player only allows them to see the good he does.. He's scored 4 in 27, he has bad games more often than good and if the club were to plan on having him as 2nd choice /starter... We may aswell plan for league 1 the season after

He is coventrys divok origi...

I mean... Make it make sense.. Godden ran the line last season, scored 14 in 26 and Biamou looked out of his depth.......scored the same goals in much less games this year and played on his own again with more assists too but.....

Right enough of this... I officially retire from trying to talk common sense and I'm not going to discuss biamou again outside of match threads... It's mental

It's a bit of the Burge syndrome in that when he has a good game some get far too carried away and forget for the most part he's not quite good enough.

Sunderland are on a bit of a roll at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if they came up this season. Be interesting to see Burge play at this level. And by interesting, I mean hilarious.

Finding old (probably taken out of context) tweets in an attempt to ridicule fellow supporters. Something very wrong with you.
