Apparently only lasts 60 mins, though with five subs who gives a fuck?

If we expect Sheaf to come on for him at that point, I fear that Sheaf will be similar to Shipley in that he has to grow into a game. Hey ho, we’ll see what happens.

Would be a massive signing, but where's the money coming from as wages wise he's out of our league. If joys opened her purse so be it it's good news also a like for like Kelly replacement and sort of quality that's keeps us in the championship so would be good news if and when it happens pusb

2bh the championship is worth close to 10m increase on league one, it might be worth spending, 300k or so on James if Robins thinks he’ll keep us up.

Joy trusts Robins. So probably provided a bit of a cash injection

Wouldn’t the box work more with James if he looked to dictate play: James and Sheaf sitting O’Hare further forward whilst Hamer almost plays the role Shipley did last season?

Hamer capable im sure of playing higher up pitch

But he loves getting it deep and would need to be disciplined

not another old crock :- After helping the club gain promotion out of the Championship and enjoying a first season up in the Premier League, the holding midfielder missed the entire title winning campaign with a cruciate knee ligament injury.

I always saw Shipley as Box to box - his energy got him everywhere. Does Hamer have that energy will be the real question. He’s definitely got more ability

I’m sure a lot of people on this forum will be disappointed to read that 29 is now old.

He is a 29yo player who has been at Leicester for 8 years.
Surely they aren't loaning him for 'experience'...more likely to reduce the wages bill, or maybe his contract is up soon ?
Upon checking the Leicester website, it says 'this person no longer plays for LCFC'...could be nothing, but seems an odd statement, unless we are maybe signing him permanently at the end of the season ??

[Edit]

Leicester forum posters seem to think that he signed a 4 year contract in 2017, so maybe available on free at the end of the year.
Some even believed he was better than Drinkwater, but he was unlucky with injuries.
That said, a minority on there, also though he was on 32k/w, so take your pick what to believe.
