Looking at the tickets available they are only selling the 1st 9 seats in each row leaving over 1/2 the block unsold ( unless they have already sold ). They should move the segregation netting as far over as they can, 4 seats?, and sell the rest of the block.

Uber capitalism is on steroids, park your bike sir!😂

Hardly uber capitalism.

If we’re going by supply & demand, almost every club undercharges for tickets

I imagine Sheff Utd have a full allocated, so they will be in the rest of block 9

If corporate sales are decent, the Sheff Utd game could be a record crowd

Cat A for Bristol City is a bit odd. They don't travel particularly well and the lead up to Xmas is typically when gates across the country are at their lowest.

I love what King has done for the club, but remain critical on this one issue, and do feel this is a bit of a false economy. Got away with it against Blues a bit, but do think Albion will be well short of selling out. It'll be the lowest gate of the season by a distance I think. Could be wrong though.

If people want a team to go to the premiership then the money has to come from somewhere. No one can question anything Doug is doing it’s unbelievable.

People just need to get season tickets as it’s great value. Or go to different games.

Doug has listened to fans on many occasions. He's answered tough questions many times too. We should be pushing him for this.

Didn't he write the statement criticising Leeds 2 years ago?

If it's about money, why is he making a loss on beers which would be purchased anyway?

Why is he subsiding buses which would be used anyway?

On the beers, it’s a big push to get fans through the doors pre and post-game… the club will corner the market then increase prices gradually.

Not too sure how the buses work on match day but imagine it’s to do with improving customer service and it supports getting fans to the stadium and spending their money at the stadium.

I would doubt that our chances of getting to the PL rest on the increased income gained from £45 seats over £35 seats.
Have we had a sell out away section yet this season? I cant think of one. Could be a false economy charging more per ticket but ultimately selling less.

He’s not making a loss, more people are in there buying and also buy other things. I think Doug knows how to make money more than you mate.

We're about to get 31,500 against SU. That's how many we can now get.

If the crowd against Albion is 28K (my estimate), that's 3,500 fewer people buying tickets, 3,500 fewer people spending money at the ground and there is no option to open ST resale (as happened for Blackburn and will for SU) and generate even more revenue.

That's when it becomes a false economy. But of course, this is based on an estimate and I could well be wrong. If over 30K turn up then maybe not. Albion only brought 1800 a couple of seasons ago when they 'boycotted' at £37, so possible at £45 we will see similar if not lower numbers this time.

It’s all about maximising profits in all areas and this is one of them. They all add up. I think it’s about time people stop questioning Doug’s business acumen 😂

Pubs are making very little on pints being charged £5+.

If it was so successful, every club would do it. Most clubs are charging £6-£7 a pint currently.

My point is, he'll happily knock £3 of a pint but put that back on a kids ticket...

Who said it should be cheap.
But we're in danger of pricing people out.

Premier league teams are already trying to get rid of sections of ST holders to replace them with daytrippers.

Its a slippery slope.
Look anyone could of bought a season ticket for £440 so £19 a game, cheap as chips or kids £125 so £5.40 a game.

What Doug’s done is said look if you want to commit to the club look I’ll after you but if you want to come and cherry pick the best games it’s fine but I’ll charge you for it.

I thinks it’s bang on.

We didn't even sell out on Saturday against Watford, I think we'll struggle against West Brom.

I know it's a while yet, but there are loads available for West Brom.

There is just no pleasing some fans, your one of the ones who would have booed the players off if we drew Saturday. Just back the man ffs look what he’s done.

He capped season tickets, so in theory not everyone could buy one (yes I know there were a few hundred unsold).
