Simon Moore a good shout for our level.

On a free from Sheff U.

30 years old which is a great age for a keeper and 6 ft 3 which is a decent height as well.

Not for me. From what I can see he’s kept 3 clean sheets this season, his kicking looked erratic, I believe he was having a miracle game to be honest. I’ll stick with my original (probably unrealistic) ask for Orjan Nyland.

Yeah his kicking was dreadful. I'd be disappointed if he was the best we got.

Suggestions like this only go to highlight how little knowledge most of us have of realistic transfer targets around the leagues. The amount of times we default to "the guy who played well against us that one time" or David fucking Stockdale is unbelievable.

Tim Krul, who is the best keeper in the division, has faced 87 shots on target and conceded 15 goals.

Marosi has faced 87 shots on target and conceded 36 goals.

Obviously that's a very vague stat and there are lots of caveats - the main one being that a lot of Norwich's shots on target faced are possibly long range shots from teams that can't break them down, whereas a lot of ours are gilt edged chances (including a billion penalties) - but that's a huge difference.

I like my keepers to have a bit of character.

It was mostly the beard TBH

But yeah, God knows what’s out there. Prem clubs to seem to collect young keepers though, I’d rather develop one than bring in a 34 year old.

The comment on Wilson being better at commanding his box is an odd one. Never seen a keeper who is more shit scared of coming for the ball

Err... Marosi!

Now granted Wilson issn't great on crosses. But Marosi is always planted to his line. It's by far his biggest weakness and has been since he joined.

Wilson didn't have a save to make last night and got fortunate, or is a brilliant judge of the flight of a ball, that Wing's shot hit the post. He pulled his hand away for some reason.

If memory serves me correctly when we signed him the Doncaster fans wernt that sorry to see him go and basically said he was crap at coming off his line and commanding his box. Wilson is 100% better at this than Marosi

Wouldn't surprise me if Kelleher from Liverpool was on loan at a Championship club next season. Looks a real prospect..

The same Nyland who Villa fans wanted dropped in their championship season? And currently warming Norwichs bench. No thanks

Alex Palmer, on loan at Lincoln this season from WBA. Best keeper in League 2 last year and the best keeper in League One this season.

Would be an excellent signing.

Heard really good things although did see one game this season where he was dreadful. Was it against Liverpool in the Cup?
