read back we been through this

just dont get what case proven means when he then agrees with me next sentence
Case proven. He himself says he’s not a hero but his friend Jack is that died for what he believed in

I’m not agreeing with you - you have no compassion or empathy or understanding of nuance.

the guy himself says he’s no hero and ok I’ll take that from him

so the guy himself agrees with me yet that means i have no compassion? all it means is i have been proven right AGAIN, are you gonna apologise for the pages of arguments now? seems you were on the wrong side of it all now

no compassion? seriously? not very christian of you that mate, please show your fellow brother(me) some love

i have never once said people cannot be rehabilitated, i have never once said the act was not heroic or brave

i have simply not glossed over fact he is a murderer and you hate that for some odd reason

Don’t hate it at all and no one glossed over it. It’s a fabulous interview if you listen to it

I was prepared to die, says London Bridge 'hero'

Case proven. He’s not a hero but Jack is. He gave his life for what he believes in. But bloody hell hes a brave bugger

he was goading the guy to blow himself up completely aware that if he did he would die
I don't know exactly where this particular exchange took place regarding the goading, but while I commend this bloke for doing what he did to try to stop him , if others were close by , he shouldn't have told him to "go on, do it" . If he had blown himself up then many others may have gone with him. ( I know it was a fake belt).
Sounds a bit too much like Die Hard to me.

i read it, i havnt dissed it

i just asked why you said case proven pete
He said he’s not a hero and so I’m happy to accept that. He’s turned his life around and can be proud of what he’s now done after probably feeling guilty for most of his life till now

Lol is it really important for you to be right. Is it something in your dna? Will it make you happy if everyone says you were right not to call him a hero for saving many lives??

its not important actually, but i think for someone to argue till blue in face and then accept they were wrong to not apologise to the person they were arguing with is plain rude.

instead of apologising you now want to twist to say oooh does winning matter to you?

you and otis caused this massive debate and now admit i was right so it wasnt warranted, just apologise?

Doesn't this prove Otis' point? Just because you deny you are something doesn't mean you're not.

How many people come out after doing something incredibly brave and say "yeah, I'm a hero". Reaction by many would be 'smug twat'. A brave, heroic twat but still a twat.
Im not the one who posted case proven am i?
