It sounds crazy, but I genuinely would not swap our last 10 years for theirs. The League Two and League One promotion seasons were the most enjoyable I've had following this club ever*. Got to visit so many grounds we'd have otherwise never had the chance to. In that time our home and away support has grown massively. We get praise wherever we travel and I've lost count of the amount of fans who have said our home support is the best they've seen for many years.

Compare that to Leicester's sterilised day-tripping happy clappy shit fans. 95% of their stadium was mute at their place earlier this season until they piped up for 5 minutes after their second. No thanks.

*Obviously 90% of this forum were not here back then, so you'll have to trust me on this.

The pessimist in me thinks we've been playing well for a while now and are due a bad performance, and it would be typical cov to have it against these mongs

Been out injured for an age, just getting back into the team. Not a great defender, we are playing as a LB, but those cross pitch passes are something else. I like him.

But only one of the parties is going on like they've sold out every game since fire was invented.

When in the real world they averaged 23k for years and only 25k when they pissed the league in 2014.

Why all the animus? We are all the same: working class kids or sons of working class parents. It's a lottery where we are born and loyal souls support the footy side that's local.

I don't mind the pantomime aspect of songs et al. No, I lie, I like it. It's funny. But all this talk of hate and twats... It's fucking stupid. Relax, find your neutral space. You got a rush, it will pass.

Have to get 20 or so in the net before I’m willing to have a chat. You seem to have more idiots willing to bite than ever before or do they all have two log-ins and feel the need to be twice as stupid?

So you were shite and some of the bedwetters were talking of relegation and sacking Robins. I know you got some injuries and were forced to change the style of play and licked upon a couple of results. Seem to be (sadly) flying now, are you back trying to play it out from the back or have you stuck with what works?

Enjoyed going there though, always had butterflies going, you knew it would be eventful, driving down Narborough Rd seeing fights outside pubs, a few running battles on Upperton Rd over the river, there fans probably thought the same about coming to Highfield Rd in the day

Rodgers. Would you rather se had kept Maddison, Barnes and Tielemans? We sold our best players and re invested wisely. Honest, I bet theres not a lemon to be bought in cov.

Was a genuine question - not sure what the lemons bit is about, you could have just left it at Rodgers. Anyway, I'm meeting my old Leicester supporting mate before the game (ST holder who travels home and away) and we'll have a catch up beer after and have the usual banter. No lemons required?!

Many times. Your ground was so bad Martin O’Niell led new potential signings out backwards so they couldn’t see how your ground was. Absolute shit hole.

Leicester City Football Club is pleased to announce that it will be providing free hearing protection to all our fans attending the big game at Coventry City. The club is committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all its supporters, and this initiative is part of that ongoing effort.

The hearing protection will be distributed to fans as they enter the stadium, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The club encourages all fans to take advantage of this opportunity to protect their hearing and enjoy the game in comfort.

"We're thrilled to be able to offer this service to our fans," said a spokesperson for Leicester City Football Club. "We know that the noise levels at football matches can be very high, and we want to make sure that everyone can enjoy the game without worrying about their hearing."

Leicester City Football Club is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all its fans, and this initiative is just one example of that commitment. The club looks forward to welcoming all its supporters to the big game at Coventry City on January 13th, 2024.

There’s been quite a new ‘intake’ of, I guess, younger ‘lively’ posters. Interesting times.
Robins has basically come across a formation that suits the squad and we are now playing our best players (Sakamoto, Kitching, Bidwell and Wright in a wider role). O’Hare back from injury has added some flare and confidence.
Also far more squad depth. Add a quality central midfielder and we should be playoff challengers.
