Leicester having to offload the handful of good players they still have for whatever they can get and starting the process of recruiting League One journeymen is going to hit like crack. Their world is changing very quickly and it couldn't happen to a more deserving set of cheating cunts.

Can't help but think Leicester are f**ked.

Sooner or later it's going to hit and they are going to need money quick. Players will be sold at a reduced rate rather than market value; who is going to want or need their training complex which again is going to sell way below its actual value. Doesn't seem like their owner has a clue and he is about to wreck the business he inherited and the club. Future earnings are going towards paying off debt which is growing rapidly around £8m a year in interest.

It coming out a few months ago that Winks had an extension to 2027 on his contract is absolutely beautiful in hindsight.

Not sure how they’re going to shift players like him, Skipp and Vestergaard considering the wages they’re most likely on. The only sellable asset in that team right now is Fatawu, and they’re not going to get anywhere near what they paid. Even the amount they’ll get for Monga won’t be substantial considering the mess they’re in.

Fatawu will sell for about half of what he's worth now they are in League One. Monga is in demand for potential but he's not signed a pro contract yet so could be picked up very cheap. James will get a good move but of course isn't their player.
The rest i think they might really struggle to move on. There may be some that clubs look at in a 'i can fix him' kinda way and you wouldn't be surprised to see some of them pick up a bit when they leave the rotting corpse that is Leicester, but i don't think they'd fetch much.

I’d take James as a squad player here to develop, only player who has come out of their season with any credit. Think they had an option on him in the loan that won’t be taken up, £5 million or so? Can’t go wrong at that price for a 22 year old with potential.

Thought he was excellent against us in the first half at the CBS.

100000000%

He's the only one in their team who can hold his head up

Fairly sure they still get their parachute payments.
Though they're in so much trouble that isn't going yo help them too much.
They've already had them. They have taken all the advanced payments due in advance from Macquirie bank that charged them an interest rate of about 10%. It is what kept them going this season with their Prem wage bill. That's why they had to get promotion this season or would be in the shite.

That's why they're at risk of worse than administration. They've also been taking payments from them for money owed for players sold in advance. They've been kicking the can down the road on more than the points deduction thinking a Prem squad would get promoted. Now they don't even have the Championship money coming in. It's going to be a very interesting summer for them.

It isn't as simple as that. They have several players that will still be in contract on Prem money that have been poor the last couple of seasons. Who would want to take them on with the wages they expect? They don't respect Leicester City or they wouldn't be in this position.

The best they can hope for is administration and a massive points deduction for not only administration but also for not paying football debts.

I’ve said it before, but making these kind of agreements with parachute money should be outlawed. It defeats the point of the money and why it’s deferred over 2/3 seasons, because clubs can’t be trusted to not overextend themselves trying to get back to the PL. If they had a second year of parachute money to fall back on next season, and just cleared out the deadwood, they’d be in an okay position.

If your mate told you he was taking his next 2 yearly salaries worth upfront from an investment group at 10% interest, because he was planning on becoming a millionaire by next year, you’d be seriously concerned.

No idea if these numbers are correct, but whatever the wages actually are they will also attract employers' national insurance at 15%.

It looks like Capology so its not correct
