Forest are on the door step of Notts County but their main rival is Forest.

Sheffield Utd are no longer rivals with Wednesday - they are now looking forward to playing Hull City as the gudge match next season

‘My only mate’ come on, I’m not a complete billy no mates 🤣

but in fairness his Dad is a big Villa fan too and also didn’t/doesn’t care about us. I’m sure there will be some needle when we play them next season but I imagine the seesaw will be heavily weighted in our direction in terms of importance of the game.

Can’t say I’m looking forward to it as I know my mate will be unbearable if they beat us.
Typo - My bad :ROFLMAO:

I do not think they will ever care about us that much, their rivals are Blues that will never change - But I bet their dislike towards Wolves and WBA waned when those two were in the third and fourth division in the 80s and 90s before re-igniting when they got themselves back up

I know people who were at the game who say the scenes after the game at Villa Park in 2001 were absolutely feral, instigated by both sides and the last time they saw what would be considered 'proper' football violence

Id never claim there's no rivalry. And it's definitely felt more by the support they draw from Warwickshire than those in brum.
But their main rival, by some distance is Blues.

And I'm not sure where you worked in Leicester, but that's not my experience, and many others would agree.
You don't hang flags from bridges and riot for teams you don't give a shit about
Exactly. Leicester fans in particular try to make a thing of not caring… they’re lying to themselves and it looks desperate. They’re the third wheel of the Forest-Derby rivalry just as we are for Birmingham and Villa.

Remember when Luke Littler said he’s ‘really not bothered’ at the darts? SPOILER: he was in fact very bothered.

To answer everyone's points, having worked for 30 years amongst Leicester City fans I can quite assure you that some of them wanted the worst to happen to us, ie go bust.
Im friends with quite a few 6-fingered sister shaggers and none of them wished it upon us and all actually congratulated us through gritted teeth, at the time they laughed but it was all local rival banter

Friends you say, friends do tend to be more polite. 🤔

Same here. My daughter played football for a team in Leicester and the Leicester Ladies Academy set up at the time they won the league, and although it was through gritted teeth that I congratulated them, it was nice to see a team not in the big 6 win the title, giving other clubs like us some miniscule hope that they we could one day do the same.

None of them wanted us to go bust, but did laugh at our predicament, so I look forward to giving it them back, and having a laugh at their expense.

Can't agree with that, it was a once in a lifetime freak that will never happen again and it pains me they were the beneficiaries - Hate the fact they won it

Leicester say that because that's what they get back from Derby and Forest who genuinely don't care about them. They're thick as pig shit though so they think that's how you act to your rivals.
