Seen Fisher leaving the Ricoh no more than 20 minutes ago, apparently he was in a meeting with the ACL board. It looks like a last minute attempt to get the game on at the Ricoh tomorrow. At last they maybe seeing sense!

Yeah people going, particularly those from Bristol, will have transport to Northampton sorted now. The best we can hope for is an announcement that this first Sixfields game is a one-off, and the rest of the season will be played at the Ricoh.

We can't really believe any sniff of good news at the moment.

More false dawns than a transvestites convention.

I can assure you he was... He parked in car park D outside the casino and I saw the ACL directors cars, one was a ford jeep thing, one was Nissan 4 wheel drive and one was a Subaru. They were there you better believe it. Doesn't mean a deal was done though, fingers crossed

The person in the 4 wheel drive parked up (I was at my car getting more wristbands out) went into the arena bought tickets for the game tomorrow and left...

Maybe Timmy realises that sales for tomorrow at Sixfields haven't reached his lowest estimate and there's panic and they're considering moving back.

Maybe he fancies seeing the Legends tomorrow and support two worthwhile causes and was buying tickets.

Or maybe he has finally remembered where he left his MP3 player and been to collect it.

What from a business he's a director of the day before an important event, that's hardly surprising is it?

Some of the ACL Directors were around as was Joe Elliot but the person you may have seen was someone similar to Fisher but not him. May not what you want to hear but Fisher was not here today.
If he wanted to meet ACL he would not have done so at the Ricoh.
Think you were mistaken.

True, but why was Timmy there? Just saying it looks promising, don't shoot the messenger!

I remember the game where we spotted Chris Iwelumo leaving in his car just after full-time, and wondering if that meant he was in talks to sign for us. Looked him up at home and it turned out he was injured having just signed for Watford, the team we were playing.

I am sitting in the sun in Memorial Park. I left the Ricoh at about 11:00 this morning. Mr Creosote once again is making it up. Oh and I haven't seem Fisher since the Crawley game last year. Must have been frightened by a balloon under his wiper. So not "last minute" talks, just Mr Creosote hoping for a job as an "investigative journalist" perhaps.
