You know a name on the defender panda? Any clues? Experienced? Permanent or loan?

No info on defender sorry. Just that he's meant to be an upgrade on Rod

Maybe not the first choice striker on Robins Rader list. But still gives us quality in-depth. And with more signings to come. The future looks bright.

I did indeed and to be fair he was one of our better performers and probably the best we have in that position which don't make him great in my humble opinion his only 'threat' of a place in the team come from Dier who is not exactly blessed with great skills in an England shirt and no matter how many people on here bleat on it won't change my opinions...

So if we play them all together that's a goal every game.

Interesting quote from Robins:

“He’s not a direct replacement for Marc McNulty, but is another component in our squad and this isn’t the end of our recruitment in this window.”

Maybe another striker on the way?

Yup. What's that young bloke's name at Portsmouth? Weren't we supposed to be showing some interest in him way, way back?

If he signed as well (Ponticelli on loan as a result I'd guess) then I'd suddenly be uber-optimistic about the new season!

Is that with the customary “mad hair” all Cov signings have to have or without.
It’s 6”7 and 5”8 respectively :emoji_smirk:

Robin Friday was a prodigious talent. It was such a shame that he wasted it - by getting wasted. At times he was unstoppable.

Jordy scored 12 goals last season for Fleetwood in L1. They finished mid table and you would like to think the players we have in this squad should be creating a lot more chances. There's every chance he could be knocking on 20+ goals with the creativity we have in the team.

According to Town fans, he was a great prospect when he was signed, which was just before Wagner arrived. Since then the club has developed quicker than he has so he's been left behind.
Hopefully he'll fit in with the squad and become a success.

No wonder the lad said yes to us and couldn't wait to get here
The young British players talk to each other and those that are stuck at Premier league clubs with no hope of playing are envious of their mates at clubs like ours who get regular game time even though they're on less money

Anyone else getting echos of Mowbrays good season with this team?

A front line with Sterling, Jones and Hiwula gives us bags of pace with a playmaker in Andreu picking them out. Looks a lot like Kent, Murphy and Armstrong with Madders.
