I think a few stuffed shirts in the main stand were reluctant but a little booing as it staggered through got them in the mood the next time round.
Never heard any football language in my immediate surround.
I got the impression from comments on their forum that we had crashed their party. However I think a full Ricoh is a fantastic stadium and I felt envious.
Do I want to be part of it, maybe, but I don't really like the matter of fact attitude. Rugby fans seem a little reserved on excitement.

Agree.
Must admit I had tears in my eyes as they came out to the loudest noise I had ever heard since Led Zeppelin were at the Locarno.
CCFC is where my passion is but Sisu are doing a great job of killing it.
However, for very little cost Wasps created a great atmosphere as they came out the tunnel.
The wasp buzz blasting from all the speakers was excellent and gave a feeling of expectation.
Just the little touches makes the difference.

If Wasps had been playing for over 100 years in Nuneaton but were in a similar situation to us, had sold their old ground for some reason and ended up with nowhere to play so had been playing in Northampton for the last 10 years (similar distance they moved away initially) and purchased the Ricoh as they'd been turned down trying to build a new stadium in Nuneaton and it was as close as they could get that would be a vastly different situation to moving a traditionally London based club to Coventry.

One of many posts having a go at the Wasps supporters. None of the move to the Ricoh is their fault. How many think that they are happy that they have to travel nearly 100 miles each way each game? They are as much at fault as we were when we got moved to Northampton.

Most I spoke to in the Casino were here for the first time, had the regalia on and seemed as ferverent as any city fan, in the ground I had Brummies next to me, some from Wolverhampton in front complete with their Wolves jackets in fact it was they who started the Mexican wave off. I would say a large majority there yesterday were not "pinched" from the Sky Blue fan base.
