Until we sell Vik we aren’t in a position to spend millions on any player let alone Yates.

Not overly keen on Yates, but £2.5m would be a good deal for him tbf.

Whatever happens with Vik MR will be in for a striker to replace Walker shouldn’t be too difficult hardly a prolific scorer was he.

We should be making a bid to force the price up and if they get him spend more than they want to.

If so then it would be a red flag (for them), Parker is absolutely hopeless.

Dean Smith deserves the job full time, he’s done a fantastic job so far.

I hadn't seen what you were quoting initially, and I was about to reply - 'Whatever it is, it won't be as bad as Estupinan's this season' - then realised that's what you were talking about...

I’ve seen a few random players in that gym over the years. Jodi Jones, Corey Addais, Jake Clarke-Salter. Once the entire Leyton Orient squad were in the pool at the same time as me before their game against Solihull the following day.

Great gym if you want to bump into football players

Hi Lads/Lasses

Blackpool fan in peace

I’d just like to give my opinion on Jerry and what he actually brings.not only can he score all types of goals and make chances out of nothing for himself and others his work rate is phenomenal and I’m not exaggerating when I say this,he will be at it from the first whistle to the last.his attitude is fantastic and he’s a very well liked down to earth lad, would be a bargain for any team around the 3million mark,he managed to score 15 goals last season in a team that was mismanaged and created very little.I’ll be sad to see him go as will all pool fans but I wish him all the best,he’s been brilliant in Tangerine and far far too good to be playing League 1 football.would be a cracking signing for Coventry.
All the best for next season.

What happened to the little irish striker you had? I thought he looked much livelier than Yates when we played up at Blackpool last season (the season you stayed up)?

Shane Lavery.unfortunately got injured and hasn’t been able to get back to form but he’s another who’s here there and everywhere.he’s actually just been called up to the Northern Ireland squad.I wouldn’t put him at all in the Yates category and they didn’t quite work well together (very similar style) but he can finish and could well be our main striker this season.Millwall put a bid in but was rejected then he got injured but he’s a live wire alright.
