While on suicide watch and seemingly just before other big names were going to implicated - seems very convenient.

As I've done time myself I was inside when a couple of inmates commited suicide. I heard they did so by cutting their wrists. This was in Winson Green prison in Birmingham back in the 70's, and I heard it was common then. But when an inmate is on 24 hour suicide watch it is almost impossible for him/her to top themselves as they are constantly watched. Maybe he wasn't being watched at all ?

Clinton isn't the only POTUS to have strong links to Epstein or said to be involved in improper conduct with young women...... Plus they're known to be vengeful to those they feel wronged or threatened by and have access to current security forces.....

I'm out of the loop in this? What has happened?

American billionaire and convicted paedophile gets arrested for sex trafficking.
On suicide watch in top security prison but manages to commit suicide. Security camera malfunction at the time of his death.
Closely linked to Trump, Clinton, Prince Andrew, among others.
Ghislaine Maxwell, Roberts daughter, was in on it with him. Bet she's next.

How the fuck does this end up as a Clinton thing and not a Trump thing??
Nice bit of deflection
Who really knows out of all of them what damage could be done.
I'd imagine it would be. Ore harmful to the current incumbent if there were anything on, worse for America?
Or would it?

I don't go in for unsubstantiated conspiracy theories myself. However I believe that:

- From flight logs, Bill Clinton was a regular guest on flights where abuse is alleged to have taken place (27 times according to some). There is a single record of Trump on such a flight, although Epstein did attend two parties thrown by Trump.

- There was a piece of research some years ago linking over 30 unexplained deaths to Clinton's rise in politics. I'm not aware of anything similar for Trump (I'm not excusing Trump, I think he's an oaf, just reporting information)

They are both known to be lascivious, so possibly both or neither has anything to answer for. Although with the more frequent flights and other rumours, it started as Clinton. Democrats are retaliating by inferring it is Trump, not Clinton. So both accusations are out there.

Started watching the family documentary on Netflix.

This sounds a bit like that sort of thing.

Except Clinton is a literal nobody and Trump is the leader of the free world and is on record saying what a great mate Epstein is (was).

There’s this weird obsession with Clinton on the right. I had someone tell me in all sincerity that Hillary steals babies.

You asked why it's Clinton for the conspiracy theory; I've explained as I best understand it. If there were a conspiracy, and I put no credence on such evidence-void tittle-tattle whatsoever, then Bill Clinton appears to have greater motive (given his 27 visits to the Lolita Express).

I don't think that how well-known or powerful the person is comes into it, otherwise they be accusing Taylor Swift or Michael Jackson or whoever else is more famous. We don't usually approach justice like that do we?

"Officer, my house has been burgled!"

"Well, let's see... the most famous person living in a ten mile radius is X. I'll arrest him immediately."

X: "It's a fair cop and I'm bang to rights. If I'd only been just slightly less famous..."

Just one more thought. If Trump had been involved in such a tawdry business, it seems far more likely that he'd not mention a word about Epstein - rather than telling everyone what a thoroughly decent bloke he is. He's a twit, but he's not naive.

The Trump Epstein quote is genuine but it's from before Epsteins first conviction.
He tried to distance himself from him since then.

I know. But try and put yourself in his position, *if* he had been partaking in Epstein's very special hospitality. You'd not mention anything would you? Craziest thing in the world if you know that he's arranging under-age sex parties, is to go on record praising the man.

On the other hand, we know that this is a Trump characteristic - to praise people such as Kim Jong Un - when he wants something from them. Transparent though it is... Maybe he just wanted to get a deal done?

I don't know. Maybe it was Trump. But still, to me at least, if it was anyone that silenced Epstein, Clinton seems to have been much more involved in the affair.

Have to say, Prince Andrew must be worried too - given that the girl he is photographed with is still alive and starting to get chatty.

My only thought regarding Clinton, who I have a very low opinion of, is if we was in the habit of bumping people off wouldn't he have had Monica Lewinsky taken care of?

I definitely think this was no accident but there are dozens and dozens of people who needed him silenced so it could have been any of them. There were a lot of wealthy and influential people in his black book
Obviously Trump, Clinton and Prince Andrew are the 3 most high profile so are getting the finger pointed at them the most.

Well you can't blame him for that can you? It could just be an innocent case of finding out a skeleton in someone's cupboard who you previously thought of as a really sound person isn't it? Nobody is exempt from those kind of situations. Both Trump & Clinton might have had connections with Epstein which were perfectly innocent, only subsequently finding out about some of his antics & then distancing themselves from.
Alternatively...one or both may have courted Epstein to take advantage of the victims in all of this & subsequently, saw the opportunity to silence Epstein through some means as a good chance to either protect themself, &/or implicate the other for their own personal reasons.

Or Epstein could have simply thought 'Shit, given the life I had...& what I have to look forward to - I don't think I will bother'

Tbh...my money is on the latter.

I'm with Baz on this; Occam's Razor and all that. There's far too much fabrication and imagination being used for political ends. Nowadays, it seems that a cigar is never just a cigar.

The latter could be what happened. But does a billionaire narcicist who already got away with an eye wateringly lenient sentence for sex crimes not think with my power and influence I'll get off lightly again?

1. All billionaires are different, so we cannot determine how he might behave from his wealth.

2. Can find no suggestion anywhere that he was a narcissist.

3. A billionaire that had already attempted suicide only a few days previously... then succeeds. Not beyond the realms of possibility. Or do you imagine that his previous attempt was also Trump, sneaking surreptitiously into his cell in between semi-literate tweets with a ninja star and a bottle of arsenic?

We have some indication of how he might behave because he was previously charged and convicted of sex crimes. Doesn't mean he didn't he couldn't face it this time but it does raise questions.

And seeing as he was such a high profile prisoner who had supposedly attempted suicide a few days previously, (Though I thought he'd claimed he'd been attacked), then it's mind boggling that he wasn't under sufficient super vision to prevent anything else happening.

I think it's fairly narrow minded to tow the establishment line on this without questioning the official narrative though I accept that that is perhaps what actually happened

Well, let's leave it there. It seems we agree on much - and what we don't agree on is conjecture which we both accept as such.

Have a lovely evening. Going to the game?

As much as I would love to be attending a Checkatrade (or whatever it's now called) tie, I am currently sat at a lakeside restaurant in the Cotswolds about to have dinner with the wife.
She had a conspiracy that I'll be sneaking to the toilet to check the score but she cant prove it!
