Fair enough. I still think it shows a lack of ambition from sisu though.

I agree, but I don’t believe they have any footballing ambition. We have got where we are over the last few years because of MRs ambition not theirs

All this lack of any sign of ambition does is saysto all those fair-weather fans who've turned up fairly regularly this season that there is nothing to be too optimistic about. So, that record number of season tickets sold won't be bettered next season. That average gate will peter off. That chance to make the play offs with fizzle out.

I'm hope I'm wrong of course but it just feels a bit deflating.

Tim Fisher.

They've held on to us for so long because there was no value in a sale.

Their return if we achieved promotion this year would be astronomical.

So there plan is to wait until we are in the prem before they sell. That sounds a good plan then

They should probably provide us with a decent squad then. Let our once in a generation manager do his thing.

Clocking up interest is is not the same as taking out. Alot of other clubs are actually charged stadium rents or management charges

So are we. By Wasps (though if our owners got their hands on the stadium they undoubtedly would too, then loan the club the money with high interest rate to pay the bill).

Just because they're not actively taking the interest out right now isn't great either. It'll be compounding and so increasing all the time. Plus it puts off investors as it affects the net value of the club, and I imagine SISU would want all their investment + interest at least to even consider a takeover.

If SISU sold us, they then have to find another vehicle to dump profits (in the form of loans) with which to avoid tax on the profits in their other investments. They may as well stick with the one they have.

they purchased a lottery ticket with 1 winning number on, i'd say the ticket they are holding now has 4 winning numbers on. They are still a couple of levels away from any meaningful money for 'the ticket'. Bit of a shit analogy, but i've started on the wine.

Which is why they are unfit owners and not worth the support they receive these days.

It doesn't work like that, their loans are ultimately from entities domiciled in tax havens, it isn't offsetting any profits anywhere

No, you fucking lunchbox. But I’m realistic of where we currently are. I’d love a signing or 6, but I’m not going to spit my dummy out like you bellends if we don’t get them.

We will, at best, stand still under these owners. In all liklihood we will go backwards.
If they aren't going to fund 2 or 3 decent additions to the squad then we may fluke the play offs but realistically this is asgard as it gets, the club will not be worth more than it is now so sell up and let someone else take us forward.

You'd have thought we'd have saved enough just on O'Hare's goal bonuses to be able to afford another attacking midfielder.

Christ, you're easily pleased. Our relegation to the third and then fourth division was all on their watch. They have only just now returned us back to where we were 15 years ago. I think the fans deserve a lot more repayment than that.

Official Twitter says all business done.

We can confirm that our transfer business this month has concluded.

Result in my eyes. Key players retained.

Bournemouth have made 6 senior signings this window...4 of which on deadline day! Relatively big name signings as well...they look to even be making a 7th in Todd Cantwell!

A short term loan played a huge part in us achieving our objective of staying up last season. What's to say the right one couldn't push us into the play offs this year?
