Genuinely baffled why he’s being spoken about like a 18 year old kid.
Where is this happening?

Frank and the coaching staff must have some trust in him to put him on in the circumstances. Thought he kept his shape well and did what he was brought on to do.
in his weird mindWhere is this happening?

He has gone in asap, it seems to be fans' perception only that he's a signing for some undefined future point. It is nothing to do with reality. In this thread talking about him being on loan next season and won’t be ready for a while and how he must have been over excited and the like. He cost more than the majority of the squad and is our most expensive signing under Lampard. Surely he’ll go in asap.

Ignore him. He thought Onyeka would be crapwho is?
The context is this:
We sign a young 23 year old, who admittedly has not played recently. But has joined us and has moved countries and is stepping up to a new level and barely had time to unpack his bags. He is hopefully a long term investment.
He makes his debut with 5 minutes to go in our biggest game of the season so far. You can’t judge him on that. But here you are trying to undermine the lad because you dont agree with us signing him. 5 minutes - give him a chance for god sake.
Have you ever moved work to a new area where you know no one. I have it is not easy and it can take longer to settle, than you, me or most people can imagine. It’s okay when you are at work but your downtime can be very lonely, boring and depressing.
Your argument is saying a 23 year old should hit the ground running and have the life experiences to cope with it.

Danny Murphy is on record as saying aged thirty after over 170 appearances for Liverpool, a January move to Charlton was extremely difficult. Living in a hotel for months away from family. Players are people not fucking robots on a spreadsheet.
To be honest I didn’t know what to expect. I don’t like judging players one game good or bad. But he does look good Onyeka. Okay he has the reputation of breaking up play, but he looks like he can pass too and sees opportunities quickly.Ignore him. He thought Onyeka would be crap
It’s is still context to your disparaging “talking like he is an eighteen year old”. I gave an example of an experienced 30 year old Premier League player. It’s not going off the deep end it is life and reality. Fans calling our team bottlers and lacking in motivation after a ten point lead was eroded - when their were numerous reasons why form fell short (not bottling it or through lack of motivation just circumstances). Stick by the players especially the ones just through the doorAre you OK? I’ve literally posted in this thread you can’t judge him on yesterday.
I’m simply saying I expect him to challenge for a first team place when up to speed. You’ve gone off the deep end as per.

Tbf, War and Peace is about familial relationships in Tsarist Russia and how they're affected by the Napoleonic wars, and I bet it would be less revered if it were about you needing to give a new signing more time. You’ve gone off wrote War and Peace about how I need to give him time.
