So with ipswich pushing for automatics , that would be in line with upto 50% of the last 20 years should they go upFrom Gemini, because I'm not that bored:

so 23/45 in the last 15 years. So on average 1.5 of the places go to Parachute teams. So its not significantly different this year. From Gemini, because I'm not that bored:

Or am i reading that incorrectly , is this season an anomoly ?
I think you've got to look at the trend. You're going last 20 years but that's a huge timeframe. The trend is clearly for fewer non-parachute clubs to get into the top three if you look at last 5 (100%) and last 10 (70%). Ultimately we are playing in 2026 not 2006. The game has changed.
This season is an anomaly in recent times, if only Ipswich finish top 3 it will be the first time in 6 years that's happened. And Ipswich aren't even in the top 3 right now.
The data expert!how did Leeds get promoted in two consecutive seasons 18/19 and 19/20?
How does this stack up,Which league prem or champ?tbf Ipswich are the only team not receiving parachute payments to be automatically promoted in the last 5 or 6 seasons I believe. Play-offs is more of an equaliser. If two of us, Middlesbrough and Hull go up automatically it would be the first time in a while that no team in recipient of parachute payments has got promoted automatically. It is a bit of a stain on the league.
Didn't Sunderland go up last year?how did Leeds get promoted in two consecutive seasons 18/19 and 19/20?
47.24% of average so basically half of the clubs that go up every year are on parachute payments; half aren't. It makes more sense over a 2-year cycle, 3 non-parachute payment clubs will go up. However, it does look like the tilt is getting worse. Last 10 years - 62.9% so 2 out of 3 each year...
Goalposts moved! Not go up, finish top 3 just to be clear. Playoffs are a bit of a lottery as we know,
Goalposts moved!
Nothing hotter than a group of bored middle aged men arguing about spreadsheets and statistics. @David O'Day best get your high heels on love.
A photo of you in your personalised converse will sufficeIf you’ve come on here for hotness I’m really not sure what to tell you Greggs. Just do the age verification like the rest of us.
I can guarantee I much more intellectual than youThe intellectual equivalent of being savaged by a dead sheep when Grendel and Parks gang up on you FFS.

So what we most looking forward to, his pace or his dribbles?
That's Markelo I am talking about, not Shmmeee
If that was me ive got really fat fingers and autofill off so regularly make mistakesMy main take away is the introduction of the term parachite clubs. Strikes the right chord between uselessness and blood sucking.
