Firstly this isn't a thread about hearing a rumour or anything I'm just pitching a possible name for a player we may be interested in in January. Notice he scored 2 against the U21s today. Hasn't had much of a look in this season at Sheff Weds. Seem to remember Pressley was very interested in him when he was out of contract with Burton. Type of player we need in my view - pacy left winger who has hit double figures in the past albeit in League 2. Is out of contract in the summer.

The last 2 have been ok to be fair.

Do you think that there is a relationship between a player's ex-club and how well they play for us? If you find some correlation you should let the club know so they can exploit it, as I doubt any other club is using that logic.

Jacques Lionda Maghoma ,from Lubumbashi Zaire,a DR Congo International , league two player of the season 2012-13 scoring 15 goals that year .

We should sign him up just based on that name alone .:)

Alright smart arse...I was only pointing out the Reda and Madine have been good for us (and since realised Tudgay came from there as well who hasn't been so good).

I wasn't trying to create some sort of logic you refer to. Don't get your panties in a twist.

This club needs massive change in its recruitment policy. SW and SP have got sucked into thinking we are a big fish in a small pond so we can attract higher standard of player therefore we look above at what older pro's are not playing 1st football...They thought these type of players will create a better standard, create a winning team and we will be in the play offs in no time.....That has failed over and over again with this season being the highlight to this policy..

We need to go young, hungry and talented, not over paid one's, not been there done that and not bothered one's, i can go back to my parent club one's, or lastly the i'm getting paid anyway attitude. It create's a negative within a group including your own players trying to step up,, players need to come to this club with a will to win, to succeed knowing they can step up in level and create a lifestyle that in most cases is the motivation for being a pro.. If they do this, we as a club get better on and off the pitch, get fans back in the door and move forward... Even the negative side to this is worth the risk, selling the players on and pushing the money into your academy or bringing more in with the same attributes will turn the wheel and keep it spinning.. I know example's will be brought up some for and some against but this is how we as a club should go in my opinion, i would take a talented hungry player over a talented player everyday of the week...

I also see the need when you start this to have a few with the experience, knowledge and the lifestyle to encourage the others, talk to the group, mentor the group and as long as they have the hunger the positive will drip down..

Not being funny but this Mughoma is a division 2 player, or in old money division 4. Don't we, we being the British Isles produce players anymore. Back in the day we, that's ccfc signed plenty of players from the non-league who went straight into the first team group now it's foreigners into division 4.
