What a massive pile of horsecrap this post is. Wondering if they want to keep players through spite? Jesus Christ how paranoid are you mate. I'm sure you'll be one of the first to moan if we sold Clarke or WilsonThe time for any credit has long since gone. If they wanted any, they should have done the honourable thing and left once their investment had failed.
ccfcway is right, stockholm syndrome indeed.
I was wondering only a few hours ago if their wanting to keep players and achieve something in Northampton is simply down to spite. Surely none of us think they actually care about the club?
After all the more successful a Northampton based CCFC is, the more the club doesn't need to return and the more likely (if at all) that the Council gives in to their demands.

20% !!! i'd say more like 10%I'll give credit to SISU for not being daft enough to alienate the 20% of our support who haven't deserted them...yet.
I can assure you Astute that I'm not on anyone's side, apart from ours, the fans.
SISU, ACL, the Council, the previous regimes are all at fault to some degree.
This debacle really doesn't need to be an "Us Vs Them" situation between ACL and SISU. Both parties have been a "shower of bastards" throughout all this.
It doesn't matter where the most blame lies, all parties have had a hand in this monumental cock up, whether it's 50/50, 70/30 it really makes no difference. Both sides need to realise that it's time to talk and high time Coventry city played in the city of Coventry. You're right.. it doesnt have to be an Us v Them.. but it is... and will remain so until the charlatans that profess to run our football club bring the club home to the city that bears its name. As for etal "fault to some degree".. equal measure does not apply... I'm aghast that people still cite this. SISU are to blame more so than any other party, there is no question.

The thing is selling players doesn't always give the answers financially they want. For example selling Leon Clarke is the easy thing but most of his fee, I would think about £500k would go to Clarke to pay up his contract so the team ends up with the star turn gone, pissed off supporters reduce the paltry 1500 Sixfield Coventry group even further and we stop scoring goals.
well you seem keen to apportion the majority of the blame on sisu, I'm saying, everyone has had a hand in it, atm blame needs to take a back seat and everyone needs to get back round the table. The chances of this happening seem pretty slim unfortunatelyOk so we agree then
